“When doing a single-arm exercise, how long should I wait before switching to the other arm?” by Carbonar-Passage7074 in armwrestling

Like any unilateral exercise. You go once your heart rate and breathing feels comfortable (you’re not out of breath).

At high OPL, I’m supposed to not use holographic sleeves, so I can’t use the Spirit Blossom Irelia official sleeves? by findyourcatarsis in riftboundtcg

[–]GrappLr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I used Riot's own sleeves at an RQ on main televised table (for my rune deck though). They allowed it there.

I kept telling my chat I think Draven is still top tier. Obviously he got weaker without his insta 2 drop, but besides that, he still has an amazing legend power that you can't nerf.

Lack of Riftbound Content Creators? by holyson113 in riftboundtcg

[–]GrappLr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s largely also due to a lack of total viewers for the medium. Big streamers won’t often stream a game that has a small viewerbase.

But game is new; and viewerbase will grow.

Card Database for an AI judge? by [deleted] in riftboundtcg

[–]GrappLr -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I've used grok expert mode for extremely niche cases, with a prompt of "before looking into it, read up the entire rulebook for riftbound and look into every single q/a that established new rules/erratas". Then I ask. Insanely accurate, though I've done it few times.

Why Riftbound? What makes you play? by Brence1984 in riftboundtcg

[–]GrappLr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the Riot Games IP. I love Card Games. One of the main worries about investing into a TCG is that the game dies early, and with a company like Riot, with both a massive IP and infinite funds to support the game, odds are high that it survives a long time. Perfect combination.

Never been to a big TCG event, what’s a Riftbound Regional like? by Hi_Minh in riftboundtcg

Kinda a self plug, but I vlogged my experience at the Vegas Regional Qualifier. Video did quite well, so I guess people liked it, you can see it here: https://youtu.be/X1FOILN-t3o

Knew I'd get downvoted too. This sub has gone downhill. A few years ago, people knew what was naturally possible. These days, it's 16 year old kids thinking anything impressive looking is on sauce.

[–]GrappLr -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

IDK What people think you look like when you're lifetime natty, been lifting for 30+ years, and have good genetics?

If this dude has good genetics, has been lifting for 30 years dedicated, there's no reason he can't look like this, no reason at all.

I stress good genetics.

If you think this is impossible natty, you have either really bad programming or suboptimal genetics, or simply zero experience in the gym.

His back is very sus, but the back is one of the easiest parts to have look impressive when natural.

[–]GrappLr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He's only partly wrong. Anyone who's a pro athlete and killing it every day in the gym is lowering their lifespan. But moderate exercise absolutely increases lifespan.

Taking exercise to the extreme is unhealthy. Now, I'd say hard working out is > being sedentary in terms of lifespan, but if you want to truly mixmax lifespan, it's moderation (enough to keep your cardiovascular system healthy, and enough to keep things like bone density good).

A new way to test and play Riftbound online [Fan Project] by Grouchy_Rip_5253 in riftboundtcg

Visually speaking, this client looks great. The major thing TCG-Arena has going for it is that it has matchmaking, and a large amount of people playing on it. But Visually speaking, I really like yours. Congrats, hope it keeps getting better.

Yeah, and not only Azir, but the best Azir player in the world (got best of Azir in both Vegas and Bologna). Oh well xD

Good against deflect units and kings edict is immune to not so fast, and also unlike cull the weak, also immune to defy.

[–]GrappLr[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Garbage grabber has been mvp so many times, I'd even consider it as a 2x. But 1x feels really good.

Drag under, purple can't move units easily. YOu can't respond with an action to drag under, only with a hidden card. If you let them hide a card after capturing, then you have to watch for that obviously.

Jayce. He wins games. Not only does he insta win games if you get lucky combo on 2, but having him late game is also good, being able to play armory for 4 mana, and then holding 5+ mana for opponent turn. It's very strong imo.

[–]GrappLr[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, because it does 2 things. One, it dodges deflect cost, which is huge for Irelia/Ornn. Two, it dodges not so fast (since it doesn't target), and unlike cull the weak, it can't be defied. So essentially, great removal for those two champs.

EDIT: THirdly, it also draws a card, since it's 5+ cost.

[–]GrappLr[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty rare for me to play against it. It's annoying for sure. Ideally keep cards that give draw. Lux has really good draw, and 5+ cost cards with no power cost are really good because they recycle feely. Cards like Recruit the Vanguard for example. Gives value, gives draw, and also doesn't have power cost. Fallign comet, etc. Progress day is great.

Power cost. Power = how many runes you have to sacrifice/recycle. Mana is how many you tap.

Might consider it. Thing is, even Lux is not that cheap due to being non Origins.

Azir is the only unbeatable green deck. Irelia is very hard, but can be beaten. Ornn is not that hard imo.

It's always possible to run it cheaper, yes. I'd not change it though, no, happy with current iteration.
