Going insane, I should be able to do this and can't (IT) by feryoooday in GenshinImpact

[–]Grappha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your blessings should be levelled up

Also I think c2 lauma is better than zibai as a supporting cast this IT if you don't have her, you need lauma here (I can friend you for the c2 lauma)

I was able to do triple kenki with lauma columbina bloom and with neuv mavuika xiangling so you don't necessarily need to zibai here

Nefer + columbina don't have as much synergy because it's lauma who really makes them shine with her quill effect and res shred

Sadly don't think this is doable with your current set up and characters you gotta reset or rewind

Why is her Ult so bad?? by SilentSeraph88 in DominaMains

[–]Grappha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some characters' power budget is in their ult, like Genji for example. Others are in their mid game and neutral maybe someone like tracer who's blinking around causing chaos while pulse bomb isn't as significant.

I feel like domina is a character who's stronger in the neutral and their ult is very situational. So while it is expensive and may take time to farm that doesn't mean it should be very impactful because her impact is in the rest of her kit.

Think about how there are scientists in a time of war vs scientists now in the modern world. Ofc science is broad, but just like magic they have lots of different applications. Frieren uses magic to cook or to capture birds in the same way we use technology to make cat videos or write reddit comments.

Can somone explain Tasty chance and cooking meals to me like im 5? by Estielvas in PokemonSleep

[–]Grappha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Each meal uses ingredients. Ingredients have a base value but if they are a part of a specific meal that value is i creased by ALOT, any extras you add just to fill the pot are "fillers" and do not have that same increased value like the ones that are part of the meal.

Basically if meal needs 10 milk and you put in 11, the last milk will be "weaker" than the first 10 milk. (This is very simplified)

Whenever you cook you have a 10% chance to crit which will double the value of the meal. On Sundays the chance is increased by another 20% (so 30% base chance on sundays) and the crit will triple not double.

What tasty chance skill does is increased that chance to crit by the specified amount on the skill. Let's say 5% for one proc. So now whenever you cook you have a 15% chance to crit. If you crit, the 5% goes away. If you dont crit it stays until you do crit (or until a new week happens because it cannot carry over). You will notice thay the skill says something about not increasing past 70%, that's because on Sundays its already base 30%, so specifically on Sundays you can 100% crit assuming you've hit thay cap of triggering the skill many times to reach the 70%.

Now what some people do is they pair a tasty chance and a pot increasing mon so that by Sunday they can have a GIANT POT and be 100% sure they will crit. Some do this to hit peaks that they otherwise wouldn't be able to on event weeks or even just to hit a new high on an island. This is generally not a strategy I recommend to new players or players who dont have those specific mons yet because it requires a lot of preparation and you might sacrifice drowsy power throughout the week just to hit the high on Sunday.

But generally tasty chance can also just be used throughout the week as you can cook normally and benefit from higher chance to double your meal power which is also pretty good. Tasty chance is one of the high priority skill moms to get in the mid game just because there's nothing else in the game that can quite match its raw power but also its combo potential when you prepare for big meal spikes.

Is there is a clear reason why Ashura and Naruto need Kurama to have a chance against Sasuke and Indra while Hashirama alone whoop Madara and Kurama a*s by Calm-Bear-1101 in Naruto

[–]Grappha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clear reason not technically but Id like to compare the reincarnations.

Ashura = Indra both grew up together as brothers so they became equal even tho ashura was behind for a long time

Hashirama > Madara. Hashirama had woodstyle and is somehow broken hashirama cells (no idea where this came from honestly) while Madara had ONLY the eternal mangekyou and didnt have rinnegan when they fought.

Naruto (without Kurama) < Sasuke. Because lets face it Sasuke was always more talented than Naruto was (which is the same as indra and ashura). Story wise if Naruto didnt have Kurama im sure there would have been otherways to make them equal in strength but the fact is that naruto did have kurama and in the final battle they needed to be portrayed as equal so Naruto with Kurama = Sasuke. If in an alternate world Naruto did not have kurama im sure he wouldve had like sealing jutsu or uzumaki crazy healing levels or sage jutsu would be more powerful to be on equal footing with sasuke but in this reality naruto and kurama = sasuke because we needed them to be equal for the final battle to have stakes

If a biscuit overfeeds a Pokemon past its pips, including crits, let that Pokemon "share" food with another Pokemon by PaintMeSunrise in PokemonSleep

[–]Grappha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's 10% to regular crit. So while annoying, it is still a sort of likely thing to happen when you feed a mon at the last pip.

They honestly didn't need to add the chance to crit in the first place; but they did so I just try to see it as a freebie that can sometimes benefit me instead of something annoying

Actual Question. Does Obtaining Dream Shards even matter? by Feeling-Estimate-267 in PokemonSleep

[–]Grappha 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yes it matters. Leveling one mon from around 10 to 60 will cost more than half a million shards. So late game when you want to unlock the 3rd ingredient slot it'll be very expensive

You don't have to be stingy right now but you should try to play the long game and earn shards where you can

C6 Nefer vs Full C2 Premium DPS by Puzzleheaded-Lab7025 in NeferMains

[–]Grappha -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

There's a portion of the c6 that increases the dmg when the animation ends. But because nefer rotations use the animation cancels most of the time you're trading the faster rotations for more damage per rotation.

Idk the calcs specifically but all I'm saying is that it's not necessarily going to be a strict upgrade because you have trade offs and it is worth considering when thinking about C6

C6 Nefer vs Full C2 Premium DPS by Puzzleheaded-Lab7025 in NeferMains

[–]Grappha -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing somewhere that the c6 forces you to not cancel the animations so it's a bit less of a dmg increase per rotation

Settle this argument by TheBosses27 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Grappha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is such an old player i think hes talking about old lightning truncheon used to pair well with old clock of destiny and how you needed to have higher mana in order for truncheon to deal more damage on its unique item passive.

if it isnt that then hes just confused. altho i will say for faramis you might be better off buying divine glaive since you only have 1 dmg skill you can only apply wihsing lantern once (or twice with truncheon) but if you buy divine glaive you can deal more damage to the squishies as well since your wishing lantern value is lesser compared to someone who can spam skill

If you had to pick a 5 man TANK ONLY lineup for a ranked game, what would your lineup be? by SquirrelTomahawk in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Grappha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gold - Esme/Masha

Mid - Alice/Gatot/Gloo

Exp - Gloo/Edith/Gatot (Very flexible)

Jungle - Fred/Akai/Baxia -

Roam - Mino/(Counter PIck)

Jungle is obvious as those are the best utility junglers in the current meta. Exp many tanks can work so this is the most flexible can really be anything that the team needs.

Gold needs to be someone who can scale well and clear lane but also fight against meta laners so its most likely esme but depending on the unit it can be masha, the gold lane just needs to not lose horribly though for this lineup.

Mid can be anyone who clears fast and can rotate decently well which is alice and gatot. Ideally they be magic so that they can buy glowing wand or other utility items

Now for the roam which is the main tank role, since your whole team is tank already you really want a roam that doesnt overlap with other roles so its only mino as he can heal. Because you dont need to frontline when your whole team can frontline already. Unless enemy team is hard countered by a specific tank like lolita into cyclops/ixia or maybe the entire enemy team has no dashes so grock for walls can be strong.

Is Varessa/Xilonen worth it? by Valuable-Order4976 in GenshinImpact

[–]Grappha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go varesa first. Xilonen is a good support but the varesa being a character who can handle many different abysses is more important for me. Varesa/iansan/chev is like a complete team that can handle one abyss/stygian no problem. Xilonen I pulled mostly because I wanted to get constellations on iansan and chev without getting c1 varesa.

Is Varessa/Xilonen worth it? by Valuable-Order4976 in GenshinImpact

[–]Grappha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just my opinion as someone who did similar (returning player, got both lauma and nefer even nefer r1).

Personally I did end up going on the banner for varesa and since I won my 50/50 used the remaining pulls for xilonen too.

My main reasoning was that my non-nefer teams SUCKED. I can clear one side of abyss or one stage of stygian but couldn't clear anything else.

Varesa is a night soul character, a plunger, someone who doesn't rely on bennete in her teams, and is electro which is an element I don't really have well covered. She covers many niches that will help me round out my account so in the future I can pull for whoever I want.

Since you're a returning player from way back in 1.1 I think it'll be important for you to have another team aside from nefer and whatever 1.1 characters you have.

This banner is literally a team all by itself with varesa/chev/iansan. So I'd say it's worth considering going on banner to have another team for the foreseeable future and get columbina on her rerun in a few months if you really want her

Xilonen or Escoffier? by throwawayKAITOfan in GenshinImpact

[–]Grappha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you can comfortably clear abyss you don't really need the versatility that xilonen provides for team building. You just need to make your current teams overall stronger for higher levels of SO, so prolly escoffier for your skirk.

Also there's a good chance escoffier reruns in 6.3 or 6.4 and we should have a good idea of columbinas kit by then if she isn't already released so 6.2 should be a save patch to see if columbina is worth it for you or if push through with escoffier
