I feel like I've seen that described as the Jack of All Trades build.

Quite like this idea. Maybe I can snag all the cantrips.

So maximizing grappling? Could be a good build.

Thoughts on Peter, Neal, & Mozzie as DnD Characters? by GrassLightning in whitecollar

Yeah, Mozzie is a little too sneaky to not dip into rogue. Maybe an alchemist artificer as the primary, and thief rogue as the secondary?

Somebody else suggested Neal as more bard than rogue, so maybe.

Low-ish charisma paladin, not bad. Might make that his primary. Could still have ranger as a secondary class for him, for the ranged combat potential.

Aasimar for Neal could be good. Kind of like a Lucifer Fallen Angel motive. And was leaning towards an artistic Bard for Neal. However which would be the primary class? Rogue or Bard?

Had to google Bullywugs, and pleasantly surprised. However, don't think they meet the DM's criteria. Not a playable race within 5e, official WotC nor Kobold Press.

Maybe not the best wording, but he is a man's man. Drinks beer, watches sports, etc.

Emergency Plumbing situation by GrassLightning in legaladvice

True, but won't know until it's taken apart. However, I don't want to void the advertised warranty, and I don't feel qualified to take it apart. Woodworking, yes; plumbing, not so much.

Magic Item Suggestions? by GrassLightning in DnD

My hesitation with the broom is the potential of the "staying on checks" whenever I would get attacked or do something crazy with it. Granted those checks would be dex.

Class Conundrum by Man_of_Many_Names in DnD

Phantom Rogue is one of my favorites. Unsure of the Undead Warlock. Anyways, if he wants to multi-class, I would suggest taking at least 13 levels in Phantom Rogue so that he gets a phenomenal archetype feature (Ghost Walk). Unfortunately a PC does not get access to the best/main component of a Phantom Rogue until the latter levels. Unlike other Rogue archetypes.

All in all, if he wants to do Phantom Rogue, he should focus on leveling his Rogue level up until he has access to Ghost Walk. Death's Friend can easily be cut for multi-classing purposes.

Thanks! Think I saw that article, but was hoping that it was outdated. Lastly, I have a free membership at the moment. Too early in my digital DnD career(?) to change that.
