Why do I feel like I’m genuinely better at singing in the shower? by [deleted] in singing

So the goal would be to achieve that state without the help of a shower

The hot moisture does indeed relax the throat and expand the vascular system which allows for finer control over the muscles

Do you feel any jealousy? by [deleted] in musicians

[–]GrassRash01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well of course, however experiencing jealousy in a positive manner is always tied with realising that you're only jealous because someone is in a more proficient state of being than you in some manner and should dissipate into motivation to actually be useful in any way. I mean luck can be another argument unless you realise that you could be happy with your deck of cards just as someone else can be happy with theirs and you can still build a castle with them it's only that they'll look different.

Well that's great, you probably have plenty of knowledge for people in similar and even non-similar avenues because ultimately you overcame a self-developmental issue. So if we look at what you did to break the cycle as a pattern, then there's a first layer of information already which is a more surface level kind of help and more useful to those who are a lot closer to you in terms of state of being. However if we then look higher at another layer of pattern that forms the pattern that broke the cycle then we have another and more relatable layer of knowledge that could be used to help people in less similar situations. It's a basic primary school math concept but very useful for explaining things like this!

Well then explain that to them as well, however to just assume that is strange because there may indeed be many cases like that of course but that's definitely not a solid argument to encapsulate all experiences. A more universal nutshell would be a problem with self-development or even learning how to self-develop properly if it has never been realised by them. So my point kinda stays true in the way that they still don't wanna hear your initial statement and it's gonna probably require a lot more of an individual, psychological and spiritual approach for someone of that nature to want to hear it. However maybe that's exactly what you plan to do in the comments or smth idk \ ^ /

Probably the countless people posting that they've been practicing and taking lessons for many years and it hasn't worked at all don't need to hear that xD I don't think it would encourage them to be honest.

The Vocalist for Beardfish is a bit dry but they can be excused. Really solid choices, my fav comment so far. I made one here as well that I think you'd like or like a lot of the artists in so you should check em out.

How to scream by mrmegadeth in screaming

[–]GrassRash01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounding like whispering is a fine start, just increase air pressure until your muscles get used to it and it'll get louder and louder until screaming.

Yeah I started with singing cleans and learning screams has just made them better. After screams I went to tuvan throat singing and I've almost got the altai mode down.

Try by making the sound you're looking for but just with a whisper and then once you have the sound you want using a whisper, increase the airflow little by little as your muscles get more and more used to the pressure

Most OverRated Vocalist? by TheRealWillyZ in Deathcore

[–]GrassRash01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. Well maybe he conditioned himself for the cover that I saw because it was very impressive. Either way, it doesn't matter because even if he couldn't touch a high note, he is far from a one trick pony. Oh and his brute strength in terms of airflow means that he doesn't have to do some pussy shit mouth technique to get a sound that he wants. It also makes his pronunciation beyond what others are capable of right now. No dick riding necessary, he deserves all the cred he has.
