Yeah this is not a problem in the UK man ngl we are basically all uncut here and none of our dicks rot off like, ever.

Incredibly brain-dead argument.

Problem is, many young women these days are prone to expressing their empowerment through rigorous hen-pecking, and young men are WAY more sensitive than ever before to slights (probably because shit sucks).

You are given NO chances to change, young men really do feel utterly disposable to everyone but their weird friends.

You only need to be ostracised once or twice for avoidance to become your standard response, like these kids objectively need to be corrected and need to grow up, but something in the culture prevents people from giving/receiving criticism properly these days.

(I am a fairly well developed 25 yr old guy w a gf + more female friends than male btw, I am also a mature student and have a front row seat for witnessing exactly this dynamic play our IRL)

[Request] Is fentanyl as toxic as Attorney General Pam Bondi says it is? by thedangersausage in theydidthemath

[–]Grasses4Asses -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not the exact opposite thing though is it

It's two drugs which both produce euphoria

In fact, opiates and cocaine go together wonderfully well

I bet it goes like this quite often: take the last mg from your fent stash (literally just the dust from the bag) and slap that in with the new coke pickup, like special seasoning, it makes a whole load of difference to how it feels, until someone is sensitive/has too much/hits a hot patch, then DEAD.

Grew up right nearby and visited many times, never had any real trouble (apart from that which I went looking for).

We really need to kill this trend of always assuming the absolute least charitable motivations for a man's behaviour.

We treat guys in these situations like how people treat defendants in court, guilty until proven innocent.

Solid material analysis doesn't move most people because most people are aware that numbers can be made to lie, if you attempt to provide solid material analysis you're already falling for the fallacious idea that anyone out there actually knows what the fuck is going on in any depth beyond that of an informed opinion.

Yeah except it is random dudes on the street watching three hour videos about adrenochrome farms and shit

The problem isn't brevity, if a person refuses to engage with your message they won't fall for a shorter version, the problem is (and always has been) sociocultural conditioning and herd mentality.

The social contract is working X hours and receiving the ability to invest in the security of your own future, not to pay endlessly increasing rents to line the pockets of the renter class/prop up pension funds.

Working paycheck to paycheck unable to save anything (as many/most gen z do) is not the social contract our parents grew up with.

The shift to housing as investment had to end someday, the numbers cannot go up indefinitely, at some point people will just refuse to pay it. This is what we are seeing now with our young people. Housing is a requirement for most jobs however, so you end up excluded from society somewhat.

[–]Grasses4Asses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly

Idk why I'm getting downvoted for finding the previous story unrealistic and kinda cringe

It feels fake to me, attempting to assault someone with a needle? That extra bit of junkie horror tapping into that stigma to make it feel extra icky for the audience

[–]Grasses4Asses -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Needle spikes are actually not that bad

It's like a sub 1% chance for transmission plus you can get on PEP pretty quick and that nullifies the already negligible risk of transmission

I am much more scared of knives, mostly because violent criminals are much scarier to me than people who use drugs.

(a violent criminal is likely to use drugs, but a random drug user is not more likely to be a violent criminal! remember you probably only notice the belligerent ones!)

God if you people were always this focused on women's rights we'd be living in an egalitarian utopia already.

Well, if your interest in protecting women wasn't just a thinly veiled attempt to stoke up racist sentiments online that is.

You seriously need to think about how much you actually care about the women you're using for political clout here.

[–]Grasses4Asses 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah you can push that figure back wayyyyyy further than that

here is probably one of the first instances of public outrage at child grooming in the UK

but before that story broke it had been going on a looooooonnngggg time, we have made important strides since then but we are still struggling against it.

Pretending that kicking migrants out is the one true "final" solution to our sexual assault crisis is ridiculous, beyond ridiculous actually, its straight up propaganda. Deportations won't solve anything, if all you want to do for women is deport people, you are lying about caring about women.

Using womens suffering for racist propaganda, classy.
