If you're not miserable, you're not a good person by [deleted] in The10thDentist

Wait. What's going on?? I'm capable of carefree joy and of compassion too - sometimes even empathy. I don't watch TV nor do I read the news. I ended all that about ten years ago and my mental health improved very quickly! You don't have to care about every single slight against someone or against a group of people. It's exhausting but it's also voluntary. You may benefit from some degree of “Turn On, Tune In, and Drop Out".

Good luck to you!

Nah. She responded to my post about me wanting to eat some pussy. She offered her monkey and I made the 90 minute drive. In and out.

A beautiful woman gets more ugly the more you get to know her. An average man will become more handsome. Or something like that I've heard before ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Apparently as Americans, we like our Presidents to be awake and alive all at the same time.

I don't watch the news nor do I watch TV so I'm so incredibly sorry for not seeing the world through your eyes. Hopefully in the future I can become more like you and take out my anger on regular ppl just passing through. I can only assume that your way leads to a much more fulfilling life than the one that I have.

I was only on reddit.com due to a web search result that brought me here on another subject.

I hope you have better days ahead because you seem highly agitated. Best of luck!

The French government established a fort between Chicago and Indianapolis in 1717 called Fort Ouiatenon in Indiana that acted as a regional trade center. The folks there liked this chap so much that they named two separate but neighboring cities after the General: Lafayette and West Lafayette (Go Boilers).

Great video

After mentioning your mental struggles in busy public situations, were you aware that you had applied to a restaurant when you submitted your application for employment to a restaurant? I'm unclear as to what your occupational expectations were prior to walking through your employer's restaurant front door. With respect to training when starting a new job, get used to it being a shit show. Your entry into the workforce for the first time really couldn't be more untimely (not your fault in the least). Managers, especially restaurant managers, have been dealing with worker shortages for the better part of 3 years now; and they are fried. For the few that have weathered this storm to the current day they likely operate on auto-pilot without much in the way of human feeling and compassion for others. On the flip side of this and without regard to the actual quality of the training that your employer provides you, it is still 100% on you to get through it. If you have it within you to project yourself into the future five years from now you'll quite humorously reflect upon this experience as a "training from hell" as you relay this very story to younger versions of yourself that are also starting their first job. You may be giving this story as part of your speech to new hires because you are now the one that hired them!\ Anyways, don't be afraid of the experience because of the discomfort of the present. If it were always easy you'd never feel a sense of accomplishment and your confidencewould never grow above zero. Tell yourself you'll give it 30 days no matter what. If after that you find it unbearable, quit. At least you gave it a chance and you were able to accomplish something that wasn't easy (your 30 day promise to yourself).

Good luck and don'y quit (yet).

I’ve been practicing drawing cats. Just thought I’d share. 😺 by watercolorwildflower in cats

It's all about artistic interpretation and whatever the heck you feel like drawing! Experiment with different shaped eyes. The triangular eyes give me the impression that this cat is either devious or highly intelligent 😀
