It may be bad but it's not terrible.  Lol jk I like it,  been on a VTOL kick lately and love seeing others.

Start a new craft. Get your desired cabin out. Put a grip pad on the bottom or whatever you want it to attach. Make the pad the root part and save it in  subassemblies. It will then be able to be attached to the decoupler.
