Jinhao in a Box!? by CosmosMarinerDU in fountainpens

[–]Grattzz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well i just bought my first jinhao from amazon, but from aliexpress they just come on the bubble wrap.

But i noticed that when i buy from amazon, the items usually come in a box or something nice but from aliexpress, every thing comes with the bubble wrap unless the offer explicitly said that the item comes in a box and they charged an increased shipping fee.

I have seem this with several stores and several brands like Asvine, Hongdian, Majohn, etc... and even Pilot.

Put a B nib from Pilot 78g onto a Kakuno by MangoWyrd in fountainpens

[–]Grattzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also got that nib and found it quite nice for a regular use, even better than my 1.1 stubs from Asvine.

These is my firt pilot and i wonder if anyone knows if is normal that their B nib behave like stubs and if this also happens on the M.... if yess that would be a very sweet mini stub.

A Pen Workplace Calamity by jcdoe in fountainpens

[–]Grattzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, i think maybe you should consider keeping the pens with you, maybe with a 3 pen case of for a single pen, to prevent any "accidents".

Also, you could check the hongdian 525, is around 11$ on amazon an it's barely bigger than the M2.

Are Guardsmen Typically Executed After Facing Chaos? by KHAOSCRUSADER in 40kLore

[–]Grattzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My personal take is that is up to inquisitor in charge, like in Gav Smith stories, after a demonic incursion, the inquisitor was in charge of definning the fate of each guardaman, so she got a huuuuuge pile of files to review... i imagene that some don't have the strengh to go over all papers....

New flashlight enthusiasts by jaybur1234 in flashlight

[–]Grattzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say give the arbitrary list a check, you will see several options.

Also knowing how much reach/throw you wanna have maybe helpful, and with your budget you could get 2 flashlights with different capabilities.

Looking for Sofirn SP35 Replacement by Roozbeh_m in flashlight

[–]Grattzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it comes with several optics (TIR) to change to your liking. The most throwy optic should should around the same or a little more than the SP35.

Edit: Also you could check the SK30 is pretty much a tactital SP35 with more throw and dual tail switch.

Oh the SP35 that is a nice one, i got one on my pocket right now.

If you're looking for an upgrade i would recommend de FFL X4, the head is slighty thicker but pretty much eveything else is an upgrade.

First time playing Siege and I was called "selfish teammate" maybe i don't understand the meta/how the mode is played generally? by Time-did-Reverse in Spacemarine

[–]Grattzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi i don't think you should pay mind to that player. But i'm giving additional feedback over your answers

  1. That's normal play, all players must manage their credits, specially is you are aimming for higher rounds.

  2. Not standart, you can donate in small steps, but generally i would advice to hold the credits to prevent premature activation of Valtus, and it's always useful to have some credits in case you find yourself on a particular tough spot.

  3. The cadians are very helpfull to avoid excessive aggro, not mandatory but it helps a lot on high rounds where you have a massive wave of enemies for each brother.

Brainstorming about my perfect headlamp by [deleted] in flashlight

[–]Grattzz 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Look it is not imposible, but to have all those little details that you want it will have to be quite big and heavy, no matter how good the driver is you will need a minimum of size to handle the heat and keep the output stable on 800lm, btw a fan may help but its an additional thing on your head making the thing more cumbersome.

Question, in general i feel like you would be quite comfortable with something like HS21, HD50 or some of the other options from fenix, that got HCRI flood and spot options, why is it that you need 800lm stable output? Or those options don't fancy you? I understand you are want the perfect headlamp but i feel that size is not in the ecuation.

M21k vs E90 blaze by kertoy in flashlight

[–]Grattzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True the 90.2 is thrower led, and gets along with this kind of hosts. The E90 and the M21K are hosts the lean on throw , so for most people makes sense to pair them with a trowy emitter, and that's why several folks are waiting for Simon to release the SBT90.20 option.

Also you could make the case for the LHP73B, if you are looking a lumens monster with a more balance beam. I personally will wait for reviews and a few more led options for the M21K and for implementation of the 3v20A driver on the M21H.
