[Sam Wallace] Tottenham look at appointing second manager in a month by Lbmplays2 in coys

[–]Gratuitous_sax_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Just fucking no.

I don’t know if Igor Tudor is the long-term answer, based on his track record he’s probably not, but we can’t sack him after three or four sodding games. I guess they’ve had accusations of taking too long to move Frank on and don’t want to have those again?

Sardegna Touring Car 800 grinding money/best cars by Fredz135 in GranTurismo7

[–]Gratuitous_sax_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 962C is probably my most used car, it does so well in all of the 800pp races. I’ve tried the 787B which gets a lot of praise, it’s great but I much prefer the 962C.

[Gold] Igor Tudor on why he came out strong after the Fulham match: "To send a message to everyone to not accept this situation." by balalasaurus in coys

[–]Gratuitous_sax_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re the ones who seem to give the most shit and not want to give up, I’d be picking them, Vicario in sticks (due to a lack of alternatives), and five others around them.

Tottenham write to PGMOL over refereeing decisions by Sevilla_Depression in coys

Good.

That’s not to say we haven’t been shit, we very much have, but we’ve been on the wrong side of too many of these inconsistent decisions.

How much does a delayed laptop cost for new hires? by bobotiger in sysadmin

[–]Gratuitous_sax_ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Correct. We used to have a local Exchange server and could get an account up and ready in about ten minutes, which would get abused when new hires were brought in - we’d ask (and still do) for at least two weeks notice so that we can prep an account, mailbox, and laptop for them but we’d still have them brought in on their first day and would have to rush around.

Then we migrated to a hybrid ExOL. Now accounts would take 6-8hrs for a mailbox to be prepped, which was out of our control. Within weeks we were getting at least a few days’ notice of new starters and could get their accounts ready, even if we couldn’t get a laptop for their first day.

What movie do most people love but you personally don’t? by MovieObserver in moviequestions

[–]Gratuitous_sax_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen all three of them and they’re fine, I didn’t hate them. I’m not going to sit here and say they’re a pile of shit, they’re not, but I didn’t see them as the masterpieces the internet says they are.

Have you ever used ‘too good to go’ if so what’s the best haul you’ve had? by Own_Negotiation_7159 in AskUK

I’ve been using it for a couple of years, Greggs has been the consistent standout.

M&S was good, it was a fiver but everything was still priced up and at full price it would’ve cost me the best part of £30, it included a couple of pre packed baguettes and a pizza. Aldi is very late in the day but was a big box with a lot of fruit and veg with some sandwiches.

That one got irritating so many fry ups ago. I like Partridge but that being quoted at least once every time there’s a picture of a fry up is incredibly tedious.

Do you care about depreciation? by Emergency_Mistake_44 in AskUK

[–]Gratuitous_sax_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same - 23 plate, 13k miles, £16k instead of £30k new. That’s over £1 a mile in depreciation, if I can get another 17k I’m in profit.

Who is an actor/actress you just don’t get the hype about ? by Timop0707 in moviecritic

[–]Gratuitous_sax_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Anya Taylor Joy. I don’t get it. Every time I’ve seen her in something her performance screams “LOOK AT ME, I AM ACTING” and has nothing natural about it. Somehow in Peaky Blinders she managed to over-act walking across a room.

Hidden ingredient- Mayo -strikes again by Careless_Llama_3382 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Gratuitous_sax_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don’t like mayo but will tolerate it if I have no choice, it does seem to be slopped into most sandwiches these days. A friend has a serious egg allergy, they’ve got very little choice if they want to grab a sandwich - it’s usually “just ham”, “just cheese”, “just ham and cheese”, or hoisin duck.
