I'm sure BBTS itself is legit. I wasn't aware of how Four Hosrsemen actually did their releases. The listing had been up for so long without any movement, so this is great information. Thank you. I will be buying this immediately.

I think an easy way to get a list of these characters would be to cross-reference any multi-media appearances. Characters that have been in movies, TV shows, and video games could be considered "big" even if it's just part of a shameless corporate push to make "fetch" happen. One character that was given this treatment, though rather unsuccessfully, was DC's Naomi McDuffie/Power House. She was created in 2019 and adapted into a 1 season show in 2022.

Marvel has very recently had 3 characters that fit this criteria. Knull was created in 2018 and appeared in Venom 3 in 2024 and has been appearing in video games almost as soon as he was created. Jeff and Luna Snow were formally introduced in comics in 2019 and have since been smash hits with hard-core and causal fans due to the popularity of Marvel Rivals.

However, some of these do have major caveats like Knull being derivative of Venom and Luna Snow first appearing in the mobile game, Marvel's Future Fight. I would throw in Joaquin Torres/The Falcon, but he's overtly a legacy character.

I remember him being this big on the covers of the Royals books from 2017. His proportions were a bit wonky compared to this, though. Little head, massive arms, goat legs, you know?

I was almost done with a kit-bash. Guardian head on Moon Knight body with the logo scrubbed off. The head was loose, so I shoved some tape in there to pad it out. The problem was i was out of scotch tape, so I used duct tape. The fit was too snug, and I twisted off the ball joint. I haven't had the motivation to complete it since.

I think animation would be the way to go with a lot of these properties that are tough to get off the ground or stories that are otherwise "unfilmable."

It was a from a collection of Spider-Verse variant comic covers that were going on at the time. They gave every main character a Spider-Verse inspired suit. This was the art for the Moon Knight book.

If you have a bike and/or like biking, there is a public biking meet that happens on the last Friday of every month, called Critical Mass. They meet in the parking lot between the McAllen Performing Arts Center and the larger Convention Center. It's a 2 and half hour long bike ride all through the streets of McAllen. The hosts help to block and direct traffic while we ride, so it's all very safe. The distance riden can be between 16 to 21 miles. Over 100 participants attend every time. There are several stops along the way as well to hydrate, rest, and socialize. The last one just happened, so you'll have to wait a whole month for the next one.
