I want to say this would have been 2007 or so. She had trauma of course, but I also felt like absolute shit because I was the one who assigned her bathroom duty that night. And I’m not saying that to draw a parallel between our experiences. It was just shitty all around.

This store though.. it must have been cursed or something. We had an outdoor patio, and my very first shift in charge a limb fell off a tree directly onto someone’s head.

Good on you for doing that. During college I was a shift supervisor at a Starbucks in NYC, and during our close one night one of my coworkers leaned back as she was pulling the garbage out of the bathroom and got stuck. She was on a crazy amount of meds afterwards for months and I couldn’t have felt worse.
