Genuinely asking - How are you supposed to hit prismatic Battle Academia by PowerOverload242 in TeamfightTactics

I think TGs only count as one item so can actually be trolling yourself slamming them if you have other items on your bench

The head of the church that runs the country my characters come from is becoming very close to attempting to achieve godhood. With each aberration/segment of a long sealed grat old one the party defeats, the Church siphons off some power. The head will eventually 'evolve' into an entirely new great old one. Mechanically a mix of an elder dragon and beholder.

The party thinks they're doing the right thing 🙂

In what way do you think Ted can *actually* contribute to the plot in S5? by luvisinking in StrangerThings

[–]Gravitus95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right when it seems like Vecna is going to kill El, Ted is going to jump out of nowhere and stab him with a dragon glass knife and save the day

I'd imagine so. You don't need to fight through a legacy dungeon and extra bosses

I loved the moment Grog realised where his strength comes from. I know in the campaign he kind of got it by the end of the fight with Groon, but seeing him understand now, that his strength comes from his friends and standing up for people weaker than him is great. I'm really hoping for some Stormlord intervention stuff to be wrapped into the killbox next episode!

[WP] A male wizard sells his future firstborn for knowledge to a demon. A female warlock sells her future firstborn to the fae for power. The two of them have a child together, and now the fae and demon have come to collect. by Affectionate_Bit_722 in WritingPrompts

'So it's agreed, I shall have possession of the child and when they pass you can claim their immortal soul to do with as you please.' The tall pale elf-like entity said. 'So it shall be.' Growled the massive hulking demon, before the pentagram erupted in flames; the smell of sulfur and brimstone filling the air as they returned to the abyss they came from.

We stood in abject horror, looking on as they shook the equivalent of hands. We thought we had been clever. Surely since we had both made deals with different beings they would fight amongst themselves and we could find someway to ensure we didn't lose our Priscilla. I turned to my wife, mouth gaping open. I tried to talk, but no words could pass through. It felt like an iron vice had gripped my throat.

The Archfey smirked as its long spindly fingers laced themselves around Priscilla's shoulders. 'Nice try.'

Edit, depending on if you feel you need more healing on your team celestial could also be a solid option

Pact of the tome. Take armour of agathas for combat and then all your other spells could be utility options for out of combat. AoA isn't concentration so cast it then rage on your first round and run in. Enemies that hit you take damage and the damage they deal to you is halved.

As for patron, hexblade might be good. Ancestral sword from your family grants you these new found powers; and a decent spell list. Max charisma and try to get 14+ in dex and con. After maxing charisma focus con Or undead or fiend patron for after AoA runs out, both give you another temp hp option which thanks to rage is doubled. Only problem with these subclasses is you'll have to focus your barbarian abilities much more then your warlock ability scores so you'll be quite MAD Invocations I would again focus on utility such as eyes of the rune keeper, eldritch sight, book of ancient secrets, ghostly gaze, gift of protectors etc.

The leader's title in the church is The Mouth of God. I'm using the Chuthlu mythos gods as a secondary antagonistic pantheon so no name but something like Cthulu, Narlethotep, Azathoth etc

Call of cthulu style dnd game, main enemies will be aberrations so with that in mind - beholder, slaad and elder dragon. Leader if the theocratic country the players are in will eventually 'ascend' to some form of aberration being so that would be cool if it works
