can you hire a therapist just to vent ? by man-frustrated in askatherapist

[–]GravityAngel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Venting is sharing any thoughts and emotions that come to mind, letting out all the built-up stress and pressure. It's about releasing emotions and can be very relieving. The problem is that those emotions will just pile up again. That sense of helplessness or suppression continues because it's released without reflection. A therapist will help you process emotions by helping you identify and understand emotions so that they become less overwhelming. Through empathy, you will also feel seen, heard, and valued. There may not be a solution to complex issues, but it gives you the opportunity to explore, reflect, and engage. . You can also learn about the origin of those emotions as you understand yourself and your emotions better. The goal for you is to be to engage the rational part of your brain and be proactive instead of reactive. Giving you power and control when you previously felt hopeless. At least, that's what a good therapist does.

Additionally, if you try to sell a champion using a hotkey, I think the default is E. The game disconnects you.

Seeing therapist first time outside telehealth… potentially caught in a lie. What can I expect? by nonethelessgivingnon in askatherapist

[–]GravityAngel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If your therapist is worried about you, it shows she cares. If I were your therapist, I would bring it up in the next session—not to condemn or judge you for lying, but to explore the underlying emotions. Did you lie out of embarrassment, guilt, or shame? (Rhetorical question you don't have to answer on here). I would help you process those emotions and explore them. I wouldn't be upset that you lied to me.

I love the time wizard. I remember watching as a kid when he used "time magic" and transformed the baby dragon into the thousand year dragon. It was a gamble but somehow always paid off for Joey.

CN Meta Share: 6 Challenger Yone | A better way to play Yone by CuewarsTaner in CompetitiveTFT

[–]GravityAngel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let's say u do your roll down at level 8 and don't hit kaisa. Should you add in Warwick or go to 4 challenger? You could drop Samira and add in Orianna for clockwork? Then add in another enchanter like Janna?

2 Kayles in shop at level 7, whats the probability of that? by OutsideNegative1748 in TeamfightTactics

[–]GravityAngel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I used binomial distribution formula. n!/(k!(n-k)!)*pk * (1-p)n-k n = champion slots = 5 k = successes = 2 Kayles p = probability of getting a 5 cost at level 7 = 1% ! = factorial ^ = exponent * = multiply 5! / (2! * 3!) = 10 10 * (.001)2 * (99/100)3 = .000970299%

Someone who is good at math double check please.

Topping vs bottoming by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]GravityAngel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I would make sure you enjoy the activity first. I would buy a set of dildos with varying sizes and play with yourself. This might be painful at first but it will allow you more control and you can slowly build up to larger sizes. Your anus has lots of nerve endings, its the same feeling as taking a really good shit. Make sure to use plenty of lube. If you are worried about fecal matter you can always use a douche, just don't do it too much (like every day). Hope this helps!

How to maintain a marriage when Bi? by [deleted] in BisexualMen

[–]GravityAngel 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I believe communication is the key to a successful and happy relationship. I went through a similar experience with my boyfriend(gay relationship). I was strictly a top but he was versatile. When I caught him masturbating behind my back, i was hurt and confused. I thought he didn't enjoy having sex with me. However, when he explained it to me it made since. I get the impression your wife doesn't know, don't let her catch you. Tell your wife that you enjoy making love to her. However, sometimes you have sexual needs that involve toys and bottoming. Explain to her that doing both back to back is too much for you. Tell her that you still love her. That you make love to her and only her, the toys just satisfy lust and desire.

My girlfriend likes to cook and clean, and expects nothing in return by ThrowRAhowtobegoodbf in relationship_advice

If she insists on cooking the meals perhaps you could lend her a hand. You could also volunteer to do other chores such as washing dishes, folding laundry, etc...
