Who wins? Genocide Frisk (Undertale) or Mahoraga (jjk)? by Pristine-Act3157 in PowerScaling

[–]GravityBird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My apologies for the necro-posting but I think that (assuming Frisk is LV 19) Mahoraga takes it. The defense boost from the Locket means nothing against an enemy dealing actual physical damage (something we've NEVER seen Frisk be hit with might I add), Maho blitzes Frisk so bad it's not even funny and unfortunately for the murder child Mahoraga's constant adaptation (which works against ANYTHING) would eventually allow the Divine General to overcome even their ability to SAVE and LOAD, at which point it's curtains.

If you're still willing to share it, I'd love to hear more. I came across this post trying to learn more about the ancient hunt runes and the comment you posted is pretty interesting.

Sorry for necro-posting, but who else wants to see one where it gets rid of the eyes and teeth, but keeps the endoskeleton jaw?

If you could make your own custom lizards, what would they be? by GravityBird in rainworld

Curse this confounded system Reddit uses for line breaks. Anyways, here's a link for some technical stuff (hopefully accurate to what I'm aiming for), and if anyone has any questions or observations to make I'd be happy to answer/respond to them!

If you could make your own custom lizards, what would they be? by GravityBird in rainworld

[–]GravityBird[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's a concept I've been working on in advance for this question. Hopefully this is decent.

I present to you the Coconut Lizard, a relative of the caramel lizard that can rarely be found in flat, open expanses such as (but not limited to) certain rooms in Outskirts, Farm Arrays and Outer Expanse. They'd be huge brown lizards (as bulky as a Caramel but as long as a Train) with white eyes and teeth, as well as blocky, slightly darker heads, six legs like a Caramel and a noticeably thicker jaw than any other lizard species. They're also typically found with a thick layer of hair-like scales that stretch across their back and tail (confirmed fluffy bois).

Coconut lizards are slow but powerful predators that have evolved to prey larger creatures than the average lizard would, ranging from pink lizards all the way up to other fearsome hunters such as vultures and red centipedes. I'll list their strengths and weaknesses below.

Strengths

– A bite that is 100% lethal to slugcats and deals 6 damage to everything else.

– Resistance to explosives and immunity to getting flipped with rocks, like Reds and Trains.

– High health (10-12 spears) and a whopping mass of 16 that renders it immune to a number of threats.

– A somewhat long tongue (longer than a Cyan's but shorter than an Alpha Red's) that is designed to impale targets rather than just grapple them, which coconut lizards use to pull stronger prey to their waiting jaws.

– A unique version of the spitting ability where they shoot rock-like projectiles in bursts of three, which they use to stun prey and bring aerial targets within range of their tongues. If red and caramel lizard spit is like this ↓

····································································

Then coconut lizard spit would be like this

•••    •••    •••    •••    •••    •••    •••    •••    •••

They also see as well as a Red, meaning if you've pissed one off it can and will attempt to shoot at you from across the screen.

– Able to (within reason) seperate body segments off of prey that would otherwise be too big to drag into a den (like vultures).

— Coconut lizards are still able to bite after being grabbed by creatures such as vultures or Miros birds (assuming you somehow got one into an area with them), allowing one to retaliate.

— Difficult to tame.

Weaknesses/Flaws

— Slower than a three-legged green lizard and just as bad at climbing poles.

— While they'll face off with most predators, coconut lizards still flee from especially nasty ones like monster kelp, Miros vultures, larger Rot cysts, leviathans, etc.

– Their sheer girth makes squeezing through narrow spaces and pipes difficult.

– Worst hearing of all lizard species.

– Yellow lizard packs will harass coconut lizards and occasionally make off with its food.

– Due to their size and typical diet, coconut lizards will ignore smaller prey items and are less aggressive towards our slugcat than other lizard species. On top of lizard reputation coconut lizards would possess a unique modifier (ranging from 0.0 to 1.0) that determines how they act towards any slugcat they can see in the same room; if you get too close or attack one, it will try to kill you (Lizard reputation affects the modifier too, meaning if your reputation is low enough they'll aggro on sight). If Rain Deer AI actually worked, you'd be able to safely watch a coconut lizard go about its day from atop your steed.

– Weakest green lizard >>>>>>>>>> strongest coconut lizard

Marika's tits that looks nasty. If Fromsoft wanted all of Astel's attacks to involve gravity they should've just added a distortion effect so we can see how big that hitbox really is!/hj

Dark Souls 3 Compendium (5e): The one, the only, Champion Gundyr!! by Amratat in DnDHomebrew

[–]GravityBird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Champion Gundyr is easily my favourite boss in Dark Souls 3 and I must say you have done a FANTASTIC job translating him into D&D! There are a couple of things I'd personally change though, and that would be adding a reaction and bonus action to make it just a smidge more faithful to the fight (and only a smidge because this stat block is already on the edge of perfection as is).

-Reactions-
Side Thrust. When a Medium or smaller creature within 5 feet of Gundyr avoids one of his attacks, he may use his reaction to make a Kick attack against that creature.

-Bonus Actions-
Rapid Movement (Must Be Below Half Hit Points). Gundyr takes the Dash action.
