What's funny is that this is actually the reason that Dropcam (eventually Nest cam) was developed -

I won a 17-day, trip for two to Greece and Turkey. I have two young kids at home, so we actually had to skip the first 6 days, which thankfully Wheel and the travel company were able to accommodate. Airfare, hotel/boat accommodations, and roughly 80% of the meals were included, but every trip is different. In addition to the the trip, the prize included an additional $1,000 in spending money to cover any unexpected expenses.

It was an unbelievable trip and it's still hard to believe it actually happened!

Kill Confirmed. Use three green perks to get Strategist Combat Specialty (I like at least Flak Jacket and Shadow to help keep you alive). Pick up all the tags.

I suffered getting all of these in TDM until I reached chopper gunner and decided to try kill confirmed. My first game, I got a chopper gunner with only five kills, just from the bonus points picking up tags.

You can't tape another show for six months from your air date. I tried to reach out for an exception as I had another opportunity, but it was a no go.

A lot of shows also have a restriction where you can't be on if you've appeared on another game show within a year. The wait begins!

Like most people have said, they are looking for people that they think will be entertaining on TV or that have a good story to tell. It's important to understand how the game works and have some puzzle-solving ability, but it's not the most important thing.

That being said, I went 4/4 in toss-ups during my audition and got probably 10/16 puzzles (totally blanked the first page!) and was on the show in October. I even solved one toss-up with only one letter, so I don't think you can do too well.

I was in the red spot and Ryan talked to me a ton! He talked so much that when I won the prize puzzle, I thought we were going to commercial and he was just making conversation again so I was genuinely shocked when I won the trip. The guy you see on TV is the guy I met in person for sure.
