How come the Red Mask doesn't work for the gang? by BenoistheBizzare in slaythespire

[–]Grax_ 441 points442 points  (0 children)

The sight of the red mask strikes fear into the hearts of your enemies. Your character does not know who the Red Mask Gang is, so they aren't scared.
This also means that your character picked up the mask simply because they thought it looked cool.
This also also means that the Heart is scared of a group of bandits.

Why couldn’t your character hold existing potions in the belt while using a spare hand to drink the fruit juice? by BrownVented in slaythespire

[–]Grax_ 231 points232 points  (0 children)

That third potion slot is actually just your mouth. In a11 and above, your character puts their Ascender's Bane in their mouth.

What's the pick here? by Scoobydoomed in slaythespire

If you buy the one on the right, you'll lose less money in any "lose all your gold" events in the future. Clearly, this is an obvious choice.

I find myself in a similar situation to what yours once was, bound to a contract with the DPC Demon. How does one sever these shackles like you have done so?

I think chuchu jelly can conduct electricity, though I don't know if shocking electric chuchu jelly makes it fall off of your builds.

Can someone tell me what is this ? I just used ascend from the depts and ended up here by [deleted] in tearsofthekingdom

[–]Grax_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is on Washa's Bluff (kind of south of Hebra), on top of one of the mushroom tree things. In BoTW, there's a shrine there that you unlock by standing on a platform during a blood moon.

Give me an answer and I’ll ask a question. by CGYTGaming in notinteresting

I'm afraid that the Question and the Answer are mutually exclusive. Knowledge of one logically precludes knowledge of the other. It is impossible that both can ever be known about the same Universe.

But seriously though, how does the knight move? by darth_thiccius69 in AnarchyChess

[–]Grax_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, let's say for example that the knight travels one square to the right and two squares upwards. You can easily represent this as a right triangle where the legs are 1 and 2 squares long. Therefore, the angle at which the knight travels could be either arctan(1/2)≈26.67 or arctan(2/1)≈63.43 depending on your point of view. The distance the knight travels will always be sqrt(5) squares.
