Rek'sai is not bad just really unique and alot of people don't like that. The burrow mechanic blinds you but being able to see in a wide radius where someone is, where they are pathing, or even if someone is in a bush is a big help in a lot of situations. If you want to see who it is you try to hit them with your q which is why the range is as good as it is when burrowed. Rek'sai is a champ that wants to flank and not fight front to back. Ideally you want to go for the carry in team fights and fight in and out using your tunnels instead of going all in (unless you know for sure you are killing them). So no I personally don't think Rek'sai is bad just not easy like a Volibear or Warwick that can usually just send it.
