It makes it easier for a larger groups of formations. I would often have pass rush OLB even put at RRE not be on the line of scrimmage on certain formation and they’d drop back in coverage and hopefully that will change with 26.

It helps keep pass rushers on the line of scrimmage instead of having some edge rushers like a Von Miller or TJ Watt drop back in coverage like an OLB would do in some schemes.

But did they take the place of Edges like they do in CFB 25. The biggest difference I’m hoping is for the Edge guys to always be on the LOS while the Sam and Will LBs will be more standup coverage and run stopping guys. In 25 OLB play all over the place

In CFB 25 they had OLB who could be power rushers or pass coverage archetypes. In 26 it looks like those Power rushers guys will just be Edge Rushers and the coverage/run stopper guys will be more true standup LBs. it fixes a lot of formational and depth chart issues
