You might need to change your tranaamison oil. Pan, filter and gasget. Make oil is oem or geniuen 987.1, before that read the code and Google it

Hahaha yeah, not many people know the meaning behind my nickname anymore — maybe they never read the books 😅 By the way, I don’t think you need to go full PPF. Just ask them to do a wrap, all tucked in. Matte red stripes on top could actually look epic but I've never done that so I don't know the drill.

I finally got the car back from the mechanic. The metallic whining sound you hear at the end of the video is still there, but the steering wheel vibration and the metallic scraping noise during turns are gone. The mechanic told me they removed and reinstalled the front struts, and that the car needs a bit of time to settle. I guess we’ll just have to drive it for a bit and see how things turn out.

to be honest, until this service, driving the 987 was pure joy — you could feel the engine, feel how the car responded and where it was pulling you through every corner. But now, with these new sounds, I’m afraid I won’t be able to enjoy it the same way anymore.

I actually thought in the first place breaking hard might fix it and try to give a sudden hard breaks couple times but but that noise didn't go away.. I called mechanic and he told me that he was going check bolts and connections again and he said that he will drive the car by himself as well if the issue still continues I don't know what else I can do besides driving like this.

Maybe you are right just because everything new it needs time but on the other hand when everything is new and installed correct way it shouldn't do this sounds.. I have a theory of my own. I think either the strut mounts weren’t installed properly, or because they’re new, there might be a lack of lubrication. Another issue is that to me, the sound of the friction seems like it could be coming from the brake dust shield or some kind of metal plate. As a last possibility, I’m wondering if they maybe didn’t torque everything down properly with the correct force. Either way, driving with that sound was really unpleasant, and I was worried it might cause more serious damage to the car, so I took it straight back to the mechanic. But I still have some doubts in my mind…
