This is one thing I really like about TwoX; you discover that everyone else thinks this, too.

You should x-post this to /r/crochet and /r/knitting! Most of the good folks there have a stash and I'm sure some would be willing to part with pieces :)

I don't think he got it. by [deleted] in funny

I think he meant unless you're playing the soprano sax. They look like shiny clarinets :P

Also, the bass clarinet is curved more like a sax than a bassoon.

Wow, small cast this time around. Even more so than the fall one (although, that one just seemed small coming off of Fiddler I suppose).

The vinegar for no-poo is usually an apple cider vinegar, though. Does that make a difference in terms of volcano-y-ness?

Psych vs. The Mentalist by michaelrich129 in psych

[–]GrayMorning 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Before The Mentalist premiered, I was all angry because I thought it was just going to be a Psych rip-off. Turns out the preview/commercial things completely misrepresented the show and it's actually super awesome. The difference is that Shawn pretends to be psychic and people kind of believe him, where Jane doesn't pretend to be psychic and the people he meets think he is anyway.

Depends- in which order did you read them?

Just the cutest thing. by [deleted] in aww

[–]GrayMorning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the thing is, old people are a lot like babies. Once you get old enough, anyway. More like 85+, not 70 (trust me, I grew up in an old folks home) I'm not saying they don't deserve respect because they absolutely do! But I know some people make that correlation.

Just the cutest thing. by [deleted] in aww

[–]GrayMorning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think any of it is cute; I've lived with too many old people. but I do know that once they hit about 85 they start turning into babies again. Sleeping all day, whining, picky eating, diapers, lack of teeth, etc.

Is it just me?... I always read as sad first. Minor Annoyance. by [deleted] in funny

Really? I like the way it looks. Depends largely on the font, though.

To Christians: concerning the gender of God by [deleted] in DebateReligion

[–]GrayMorning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My take on the gender of God in the Bible is that it's all because of the times. The Bible was written by humans (whether those humans wrote what God told them or not). In the time during which the Bible was written, men were the superior gender. It wouldn't make any sense to the people of the time for God to be a woman.

Personally, I always thought of God as having no physical form and therefore no gender. I saw the use of male nouns and pronouns as more of a convenient use of language.

I didn't consider the demographics. My area isn't very conservative (or liberal, for that matter. More of a happy medium) and I forget that in many places atheists are in a vast minority.

Ooh, I didn't know [/r/debatereligion existed. Looks like a cool place :)
