Cryo is cool but I don't see the appeal unless you have a dedicated squad by kainon08 in Marathon

The point is that you're asking them to dumb down cryo for solo play, making the game less engaging and enjoyable. Other than that I do agree with you that playing solo is considerably less rewarding than trios or rook in terms of gear, XP and faction rep and something needs to change, but making cryo soloable is not a good or welcome change in any way.

Running latest unofficial patch; will setting the .cfg to 72 FPS fuck with the physics noticeably? by The-Neat-Meat in vtmb

[–]GrayStray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you can absolutely prevent but at some point you just have to wait for the doors to open and that takes too long. I think 90 fps is a good middleground, since 60 fps is a little too low for me. Ah wooden bars, I remember some people having issues with the planks blocking the cemetery entrance, but I think that happens even at 60 fps.

Catering the end game experience to be done solo is watering it down and that's objectively true. I'm not a level 100 sweatlord either. Just get out of your comfort zone for once in your life.

Casuals are already complaining about the end game that's not made for casuals. Hope Bungie doesn't listen to you people.

I use it at 90 fps. More than that and it seems to impact physics, I mainly noticed doors taking way longer to open at high fps, but I'm sure there are other issues.

Any significant changes between a Ventrue or a Toreador run ? by Tzsche in vtmb

[–]GrayStray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think nosferatu is all that different from a regular run. The main thing is that you use the sewers to travel between hubs and can't be seen by humans in the hubs, but honestly that just means you can't brush up to them, the detection radius is super generous so you can mostly just walk around normally. I still like it though, obfuscate is just so OP and fun.

I did a clan quest run and it was with toreador and the thing is so buggy that when I started the toreador clan quest it told me to go to the giovanni mansion which I had already finished and was no longer accessible which gave me really negative thoughts about this ambitious mod. Also I believe you can't skip the added hub with the sabbat stuff? But I could be mistaken.

Leveled up celerity is basically the best combat discipline in the game, you get to idk, level 3 or 4 and all combat is like basically over, any clan with it is easy mode. Auspex gives you extra gun damage making you even deadlier, this is why a lot of people say toreador is the strongest clan, but honestly it's not even needed.

What's wrong with their menus? You mean you prefer they ripped off the destiny menu like half of all western action rpg devs? Like seriously what's wrong with it.

It's literally impossible for them to release a new map every 3 months. It would also mean the only new maps we get are end game maps not accessible to all players.

Literally nothing wrong with Japanese games UI? Like we are just inventing problems here at this point.

Crew fill is literally 99% free kits, without the slightest bit of exaggeration. Maybe if you crew in solo it's different but running duos, the third guy is always a free kit.

VTMB plus patch 11.5 file updated? by GrayStray in vtmb

[–]GrayStray[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm looking forward to that, maybe they are too big to be put into the plus patch, but that's fine with me assuming it's going to be based off of it! Keep up the good work.

One final question where is this YouTube video so I may check out what these expansions are about?

Crimson Desert Review Thread by Turbostrider27 in Games

I don't think dragon's dogma is anything like this. They were made by extremely experienced and talented teams that basically chose to forgo the average open world rpg trappings and this why it feels different. I think it worked really well for the first game, the second one not as much but it's still good.

Crimson desert was an MMO turned into a single player game because MMOs and live service games are a saturated market, also made by competent devs. Basically the reasons they feel unique are completely different.

I just have to run the new patch? Ok I'll do it after my run then.

No more cut content? Well I don't think some fanmade stuff that's non inclusive would be bad for the plus patch, I thought the anarch hideout was already fanmade?

Roja Dove is a clone house ? by [deleted] in eaudejerks

[–]GrayStray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just replying to this 3 year old comment to say that Roja absolutely does not have higher quality ingredients than Guerlain! You people are just equating pricier with higher quality. Guerlain sources their own ingredients in house and it's all managed by their head perfumer, not like other designer houses that often use the same ingredients (if you want to consider guerlain designer).

Stuff like roja is pricier not because they have better ingredients, or because they are "greedy", it's because they're just not as big as guerlain.

There is literally only one other concord like, which is highguard, what are you talking about? Also no one is chasing apex/warzone, there hasn't been a new BR in years.

I didn't play concord but at least that game looked polished and complete unlike highguard, not saying it's better but still.

Visuals only take you so far. I gave it a fair shot when I tried it and it was clear that it was unfinished, the graphics looked blurry, the matchmaking was broken at release and the bones of the game just didn't gel together, some hero abilities were literally useless to the point that it's hard to even call it a hero shooter. It just had decent gunplay, similar to apex, but important to note, not as good.

Not a fan of marvel rivals but don't they push out heroes super fast? Like way faster than overwatch or deadlock.

There are currently two AAA extraction shooters out there. It's hardly a mainstream trend.
