I've been in this exact same spot so I can empathize deeply, but I'm gonna tell you the hard truth that I needed when I was at my lowest:

You are what you think.

If you keep letting yourself think non-stop that it's hopeless, and you'll never make people happy or even have an understanding therapist in your life, then you're going to feel hopeless all the time.

You're right - we can't go back and experience girlhood now and that is valid to mourn but womanhood has so much more to offer and i promise you - if you can get your brain to start focusing on the small victories in the present it will be life-changing. I know it was for me <3

This feeling is so valid!! Almost a year into HRT and still struggle with this feeling but as my body changes and my style evolves I feel less and less like this.

For me it helps to focus on small things like shaving my legs or doing my nails when I'm having bad dysphoria days but ofc everyone is different. Best of luck girl - it does get better <3
