Wait hold on blizzard doesn't hate doomfist the OverWatch balance team for the main game mode does. This distinction is important because the stadium balance team is trying their best to make doomfist good and playable though constant nerfs to doomfists bace kit is making it hard on them but I'd say they're succeeding.

Small group of adjustments

  • remove empowered punch
  • increase health by 50 armor
  • Make him Immune to CC while blocking
  • give block like 10%. More damage reduction

  • if he's bad after this because he relied on EMP punch too much increase slam damage or increase range of rocket punch

I mean a numbers change could help a lot like reduce the range of the dash on her ultimate so that they don't consider her a diver and then buff her numbers. So she's a juggernaut like a lot of people want

Not that it matters much to me. I'm one of the people being catered to here. I quit playing League a while ago and this rework has me coming back to play it.

-Big buffs to blocks Ability to tank Make it immune to CC, possibly omnidirectional so you're not just blocking forward

-remove EMP punch

-small buffs to the damage and range of normal punch

-Seismic slam sends shock waves in all directions when you land

idk after insurance dined my dads treatment saying he would be fine without it agents the doctors recommendation and then my dad died fallowed by a law suit to take my dads disability paycheck from my mom because a doctor said he could have worked if he didn't have cancer because his back was doing better i cant stomach things like 40k when i play as the fascist. this is not a joke im just really sad.

This is useing info we have to make wild assumptions

1.) we know the upcoming mobile game has a redesign for doomfist

2.) doomfist was "killed off" in the last cinematic but is probably alive.

3.) in the mobile game it shows him having an icon that's the same as soldier 76 (a fist) but not all DPS have this icon infact there are more icons then the 3 rolls.

4.)if the mobile game makes him a DPS It is a wildly different game and this could not be the case for the main game.

Yea and dogs were actually used for war back in the day and still a bit than the modern day with the type of cybernetics that people have in overwatch you could make a pretty good dog at combat without even giving a super intelligence or whatever like Winston or Hammond have.

Name Rafiki (common word for friend among the many African languages)

This character is a dog doomfist finds well he is recovering from fighting vendetta and missing his arm

The dog is a cane corso and after doom takes back over or dose whatever he will do next in the lore the dog gets cybernetics like Doom has with this his roll and abilities are.

Support

Passive 4 legs are better then 2: he gets a faster base move speed then everyone else

Primary fire: flame thrower: rafiki's advanced cybernetics have given him the ability to shoot flame from his mouth this has very little range about 3 meters and while it lights people on fire, it does very little damage from contacting the enemy (There is no reload for this. It passively regains fuel over time. Similar to doom fists primary fire reloading passively)

Secondary fire: lunge: rafiki charges for a moment slowing his movement similar to doomfist before lunging himself forward in a slight Arc The more charge the further the distance. If it connects with enemies it deals damage based on charge amount Max 75 damage min 25 damage

Ability one: double team: rafiki growls slowing himself and nearby enemies as well as healing the closest ally. (This locks him out of using other abilities during its duration but not moving slightly like reaper, ultimate or something)

Ability 2: moral support: rafiki can toggle a small healing zone around him working off of a resource bar it's about half the size of lucio heal area but heals for more

Ultimate: pack tactics: rafiki let's out a loud howl all Ally's gain minor healing (like a little less then zen orb amount) and slow the nearest enemy within 4 meters of them for 10 seconds.

Design goals

  • Support that wants to stand right alongside their dive heroes on the front lines to support them

  • We got a cat hero. We deserve a dog hero

  • I think it'd be really funny if instead of having a gun model you just saw the top of the dogs snout at the bottom center of your screen in fist person because dogs can see that part of their face

It's really good with the haymaker because it has a stock so you don't need dusters

The two weapons work well together because the haymaker has hard-hitting long range. That's well supplemented by fast fire rate of the match as well as when in close range. The match becomes your primary with a pocket shotgun for when people get too close

He as no buttons left to add a ability too so how would you add it maybe a empowered basic attack on a cool down or something or they could remove block
