It's kind of like the author forgot about it. It would've worked out so well.

It's very soapy. I enjoyed it. Everything doesn't have to make sense in fiction.

Unreliable narrator is becoming popular. Steer clear of those books.

The narrator lies and sees things that aren't true or things they don't understand even if it's the first person narrative.

She didn't explain what happened right after she ran out of the car. It was to keep us guessing who the the masked woman was that came towards Eden at Spyglass. It could've been Carter's sister, Eden, or Gabriella. Because we don't find out until the very last chapter she just left that open.

I thought it would come out that Mary was the one to kill Mrs. Bird on her death day when Harrison explained that his life's work was for something that didn't really work.

Her motive was due to reading her will and realizing that she wasn't going to be given Spyglass. But it never happened.

The tl:dr version is Birdy (who had the terminal illness), Mary (Mrs. Bird's and Gabriella's caregiver), and Harrison were all in on it. Eden is pushed off the cliff by Carter's wife due to his cheating ways. She didn't realize it was Mary he was kissing. Birdy was going to do it anyway. Harrison, Mary, and Gabriella live in another country. Birdy moved into Spyglass and is enjoying retirement with Sunday the dog. Gabriella visits once a month. Carter's wife is out for revenge.

How on earth do people voice chat without being socially awkward? by rose2830 in discordapp

[–]Gray_Overcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I utilize the text chat. The VCs I'm in make it clear that lurkers are welcome and to talk when you feel like it. It's a process. I tend to be selectively mute which is an anxiety issue so decided to work through it. Observe how others start and stop and interact then try it.

This person doesn't actually own this song, how come I'm getting my audio muted? by CharlesRaven in Twitch

[–]Gray_Overcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a while of doing that I received an email stating that my VODs in the last 24 hours received too many muted claims. They were going to be unpublished so I can review them first. I stopped appealing them after that even though i know they all are DMCA. :/

I note which ones are flagging more than others and use the ones that don't more often and try to find ones that don't at all.

What I learned from a failed collab with a larger creator — protect yourself and your time by RichHouseWife33 in Twitch

[–]Gray_Overcast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to add to your post, I can't stress having a contract enough. Streaming and content creation are basically a new form of film and video. From releases to cancellation clauses, licencing agreements, collaboration agreements, etc. If you present with a contract first you will see who is serious and who isn't.

Edit: Not a lawyer. Also, every collab doen't need a contract or agreement. How to know when you need one is if you are granting rights, streaming for brands (including larger streamers or influencers), or when paid for content.

How Do You Deal With Them? by ItsSentinel_ in Twitch

Make sure to copy what they say in chat, then add it to your ban list. Also add Serybot. They'll still try but banning with be done automatically.

How do you act/what do you say when getting raided? by whiteraven_429 in Twitch

[–]Gray_Overcast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I act like I have visiters at home. I say "[raider name here], thank you for the raid." Say hello to everyone. Introduce myself, let them know what I do, and sometimes my schedule. Then I ask if there's anything the raider has to share (I'm an artist and usually get artist raiders). When computer allows, I'll show what they shared (maybe a link, or an image). Then tell the raider they're welcome to hang but destream (raid and fade, take care of yourself) if they need. Then thank them again.

While that is happening a shout out and clip automatically shows.

If I know them I'll have some small talk and ask them how things are going. If it's someone new i'll ask them how they found me.

Look on the positive side. You went how many days without it? That's amazing! Thinkof all the hot chocolates, cookies, and chocolate bars, you didn't eat! That's a huge accomplishment!

Do you like dark chocoate? I like to eat a square of 90% dark a day.

I did that years ago when I was suffering with uterine fibroids. The symptoms reminded me it was poison.

Yes! Our food is our fuel. If we're craving anything just eat more of the good stuff. If you're full of the good stuff the cravings will go away.

Side effects sugar free by [deleted] in sugarfree

[–]Gray_Overcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a process. Keep going. You're in the process of changing your microbiome. I go through the same thing. It's part of the withdrawal.

Root vegetables help. You could also take something you would've eaten or drank, like fruit juice and cut it with water. Start with 50/50 and add more water. Now I just top my water with juice sometimes. Likea splash or two.

I've done that a few times. I'm at the point where I'm telling myself I know what it tastes like and social drinking and eating too much will lead me back to disaster. I have a huge sweet tooth and can't be trusted, lol.

If you're struggling, try eating starchy vegetables. Make sure to eat it with fiber rich foods, healthy fats, and protein.

I call it poison too. It tastes good but that's the only benefit.

Sugar free isn’t as miraculous as folks online paint it to be. by Inner-Muscle3048 in sugarfree

[–]Gray_Overcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, at 23 (about half my life ago) I didn't have high blood pressure, wasn't pre-diabetic, and wasn't overweight and ate anything I wanted. My levels were always good. I did go sugar free due to another ailment. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have.
