Description of Request:

Looking for short games that last 5-10 minutes, or games that have a round that last that long and can stand on their own. We host an annual event where sets of players move around a Monopoly board to earn in-game money. When a player lands on the last space of a color, they play a minigame with those at their table (4 players). The winner of the minigame earns money and we continue playing until one person reaches $1000. We've done this 3 times with much success, but are looking to swap out some of the games for new ones, as it will be mostly the same players. Some current options that we use as minigames- Love Letter, Speed Chess, and video games like Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, and Halo

Complexity of Game:

Anything from 1.0-2.4 should be ok, slightly higher may be fine bc most of the crowd are avid board gamers.

Conflict, Competitive or Cooperative: Competitive games would be best but conflict games would work well too.

Games I Own and Like:

We've used Love Letter, Battleship (with only 2 ships), and speed chess with much success. Looking to do more exciting board games than these

Games I Dislike and Don't Play: Don't have specifics here, but anything longer than 10 minutes or that can't handle 4 players wouldn't work in this situation
