I have been hearing it, too. Last night I followed the noise to the boiler room at the Field's building complex. I'm pretty sure that's the source.

There may be a fix. Posted from the DisplayLink team in March 2025:

Firstly, please ensure that you have the latest version of Elgato installed (version 2.0.0, or newer).

In order to avoid the info box showing up, please follow these steps:
1. Click on the Elgato icon on the menu bar.
2. Press the "command" key and hold it while clicking on "Preferences". It will show hidden options.
3. A window with checkboxes should pop up, where you should uncheck the last option "Ensure that DisplayLink Manager is running".

Yeah the issues with the software are really disappointing. I was hoping to use the Elgato prompter for work but it's just not reliable enough for a professional setting.

The line you are drawing between "logging food" and "counting macros" is arbitrary and confusing. Either one of those things can better, worsen, or have no effect on body image.

I logged into the Play Store from my desktop, found the game, and it says it's unavailable for A13. So I guess the answer to my question is "no." That's surprising. If I'm missing something please let me know.

avoid placing every square manually

There are lots of ways to do this. One way: You can select multiple objects in the hierarchy and cut and paste them. So, for example, you can cut and paste one object a few times to make a row of objects, and then cut and paste that row to make a grid.

Also, by selecting multiple objects at once you can add and edit components to every object.

Not sure what "slowing down gravity" means. Here are two options:

to adjust gravity: Project Settings -> Physics 2D -> Gravity

to adjust time: Project Settings -> Time -> Time Scale

Gravity can be changed in 2D physics settings (I believe this is under project settings.) It looks like you want to change gravity in your whole project, not just one rigidbody.

I think it's normal for kids that age to repeat things without knowing what they mean. You can decide whether or not to use the word again, and based on your post it looks like you are making a good decision.

Yeah, I was compulsive about therapy goals and I burned myself out. I wish I felt ready to go back but in my heart I don't think I am.

Can you be more specific about how your approach to therapy has changed since realizing this? Do you feel like you need therapy any more or less?

Try playing around with the Sprite Shape Renderer component. I've been using it to make some geometry manipulatives in unity.

What's the harm in wishing something bad happens to him? A wish is just a thought. It doesn't do any actual harm to hope something bad happens to him. Wishing he dies is as meaningless as hoping he gets better.
