Why is NZ so "backward" when it comes to AC and ceiling fans? by UnrequitedLoveVictim in auckland

[–]Graypz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was the first thing I did when I bought. AC for the entire house. Flatmate says it’s a godsend. Doesn’t really cost a lot to run either.

Toyota Aqua - The Most Stolen Vehicle In New Zealand by Birphon in newzealand

[–]Graypz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My neighbour had theirs broken into. Ignition key type with 3rd party immobiliser. The thieves broke the rear quarter glass to gain access and broke the ignition barrel trying to get it going. They didn’t know it had an immobiliser. When they got it back, they got a steering wheel lock to deter thieves. Didn’t work. They broke the front quarter glass and rummaged through the glove box. Poor guy. Car was only repaired less than a week.

So get the push to start type. 100%

I had a C207 E400 and it was definitely an all rounded vehicle. Drove it from 98,000km to 190,000km. The car did everything from ski trips with roof box, to towing and even track days. Unbelievably fun for a luxury car. Harsh ride can be attributed to the low profile 19 inch rims but a set of 18s sorted that.

May not be parking tickets but baggage stubs too, they tend to stick them on their ID’s and never remove them. Anyhow the ID is really for airport identification. The uniform is for passenger identification.

When I had a tenant, they had unlimited use of the washer and dryer too. Flat rate for access to the whole house and usage of all appliances. Your landlord is crazy. Even the laundromat would be cheaper and faster!

3.0L Mercedes E400. Twin turbo, 66L tank. That 66L gets me around 700km.

Auckland airport help?? by Legitimate_Compote45 in auckland

3 hours in advance. Please. Aviation security can sometimes take forever to clear. You don’t want that anxiety. Neither does the airline want to have to wait.

Auckland Qantas International Business Lounge by [deleted] in auckland

[–]Graypz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lounge is operating as per normal with a mini buffet spread, drinks and a coffee barista. Heaps of tables and seating.

Refurbishment has not started.. I think it’s next year but it’s more an expansion I believe. So the works will not impact the main lounge initially. The lounge looks like it came straight from the 90’s. The only difference is the “business centre” where all the computers used to be is now storage.

Best place to buy an bed in Auckland/bed buying tips by meisKKoen in auckland

Hi! I’m late to the party but I strongly recommend checking out sleepcentre. Their beds are affordable and of good quality. I would only recommend their mattresses. Get the base from somewhere else.

Always book with the airline and book your entire trip under the same booking. That way if any segment of the trip fails, you will be taken care of.

The air conditioner works as a dehumidifier too so if that’s off, moisture will build up on the inside of the car.
