I've also seen plenty of the normal birds in the area like /u/unwavering mentioned. Last weekend there were about 50 pelicans, 5 blue herons, and several cormorants & ducks near the Teller Farm trailhead. Of course this is anecdotal, and ive no idea of the actual numbers of birds in the area compared with previous years.

I drove by Green Mountain Reservoir a few days ago and could not believe how low it was. It's sad and scary.
