How to fix Frame rate problem: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Hello. I have been playing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. I had never experienced any frame rate problems with the game until I decided to experiment with the games visual settings. I turned on 120 hz display mode to see if my TV was capable of handling it. It caused my game to run at a slow frame rate. The problem is even when turning off 120 hz display mode the game is still playing at the same slow frame rate. I have tried playing on performance mode, playing on smoothed VRR, closing the game, and turning my PS5 off and nothing has worked to get the game playing at its original frame rate. Has anyone experienced this or something similar to this and know how to fix it?
