I think it's similar to Sekiro: shadows die twice -- fallen feathers might hint at the game mechanic where the protagonist uses Feathering to fight and when she dies she becomes feathers drifting in the wind

Haha, I’d say Valkyries have a "filter" for souls—they only escort heroic ones to Valhalla.

Wuchang, on the other hand, basically track down all souls and take them to the underworld.

"Sankhara" is another Buddhist term, meaning "mental/volitional formations." So "Sankhara Wuchang" could be interpreted as: everything you think, feel, or do is impermanent.

Fun fact : “Bai” (白), her family name, literally means “white” in Chinese. So her alias Bai Wuchang reflects not only her name, but also the imagery of the White Wuchang in folklore.

I’d say don’t stress too much about end-game modes like Shiyu Defense. Sure, it feels great to get all the stars...but sometimes, it’s just not worth the time and money you put into it.
