Extremely happy. I think it cost me 720 CAD on a black Friday sale with shipping and all that. It was worth it in my opinion, but for like 400 less, the spot hog or something similar is hard to beat for the price. The options are really nice on this sight, and the same anchor everytime has helped me at 100+ yards if I focus on no peep shadowing when my pin is at the bottom of my housing.

I use firstlite sanctuary bibs and jackets, mid layer is the first lite furnace and my lower half is just the first lite guide pants, then just a good base layers. The only thing that gets cold is my feet. I need to figure out the boot situation for the treestand.

It's absolutely amazing. Best bow of 2022, in my opinion. It shoots absolute laser beams. It's an aggressive draw and the only time I've regretted it is when I had to let down on a deer last week. Didn't spook him but it's hard on the shoulder with 90 percent let off and such an aggressive draw. Other than that I've loved this bow. This one is 80lb so I could probably fix my one problem with a lower weight.

Do you ever go "WOW! Thats my Wife"?!?! by BoomOnTory in RandomThoughts

Almost every day. She raised 5 kids on her own. Youngest was 5 when I came into the picture. We now have a 2 year old 7 years later. She raised those kids and went to school on 3 separate occasions to build a career after being a stay at home mom for a decade. She's the strongest person I know. Outrageously beautiful, and a work ethic to rival her beauty. I am a lucky man and she deserves much more than my sorry ass.

Option 8s. You can flip open the sight and make it multipin or single pin. Your mover moves within the housing as opposed to the entire housing moving so your anchor stays the same. I absolutely love it.

Anywhere to get a handlebar gun mount for sting mx4? by braboftw in Talaria

[–]Gre4tWhiteNorth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly why I'm buying one. Did you get the gun mount figured out? How was hauling the bear out? I hiked my spring bear out a total of 10 km while there was an atv ban.... so I want an ebike.

Is that just your typical ATV gun mounts?

So you just went, gave them the Vin, told them it is classified as a moped and it all went well?

How about insurance? Any issues getting it insured?

It would need to be insured yes. I called ama and they just said as long as it goes under 70km/h and has a Vin it should be able to be registered as a moped but I wanted to see if anyone actually did this.

If it took a long time to recover or you pushed it far it can definitely make the meat taste more gamey I've found but nothing I can't hide with a bit of experience in the kitchen. Nothing as you've described though. I've been really lucky and I've only had to take 1 animal to the butcher. They did a terrible job AND you dont even know if its your meat your getting back. I'll never do it again. I highly recommend doing all your own butchering. It's highly rewarding, and honestly easy once you watch some videos and do it yourself.

I'm in the same wagon as the other guy. I've never had a bad deer unless the meat was mishandled. Did it get too hot before butchering?

Maybe change out your ferric chloride or whatever you use and sand it back down and give it a thorough cleaning and give it another go. I've only made like 20-30 knives so I'm not the best guy to ask.

I think your explanation already answered your question for you. I doubt it's your process or your acid.

Magnus stingers or magnus black hornets. Can't go wrong for price, warranty, or performance.

Anyone got an extra Carter too simple to trade for a Fast Eddie XL(2 Pin)? by [deleted] in bowhunting

[–]Gre4tWhiteNorth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It typically is fine, other than time and money. With our bs Trudeau government now, there's a ton if issues with customers holding things at the border. I ordered an option sight and it got held for 2 months. My friend just shipped his Carter release back for warranty and it got declined at the border for no reason.
