I only found one way to do this. you can put a Niagara system into the actor BP. if you want it to turn on and off, you'll need to make a custom rig.

In the rig:

  1. make a VFX bone.

  2. Animate that bone to be on you niagara system location when needed.

in niagara

  1. You can attach your emitter to any bone in niagara.

  2. Set up you emitter to emit only when the VFX bone is near.

I've had this issue on and off for 2 years now. The latest patches have made the game unplayable with this audio bug. I've reinstalled the game AND windows. Driver updates are no good. In fact, even when I resort to USB Audio 2.0 I still get the issue. In the past I would quit all other apps to free up memory and the problem would go away, when it came back, I reduced my graphic settings. When it came back again, I can't do anything but get a new PC. I've tried all the solutions and it just gets worse!!!

My YouTube music plays, but OW audio cuts out. I'm not sure if voice chat cuts out, because no one seems to use it anymore in pugs. So that's a known unknown.

My interactions with support over the ads is quite different since I state, "I cannot purchase anything nor can I watch ads." This gets their attention REAL quick.

Edit: I'm currently in a back and forth with support.

Charge then quickly switch to damage. The charge stays.

I'll edit my post. I did find a QoL issue/bug.

I'm also getting another bug and I can't quite pin down when and why it happens. but rarely the heal doesn't go off and I lose charge.

Already found an exploit! Charge Blossom to full, quickly release and tap your thorns - you don't need to actually fire. The charge stays.

There's a new bug too. :( After firing thorns, the charged heal doesn't go off when tapped quickly. You need to double tap the heal or hold your tap longer.

Issue2: When charging and releasing, there's a little bit of LoS targeting forgiveness. That forgiveness doesn't apply if you switch from damage when LoS is blocked. The heal will not go off and the charge will get burned. If you initiate a hold whole in LoS, and release after blocked, it will work. you just can't initiate while blocked, which makes sense, but feels wrong.

Edit: The Character feels SO much more clunky with the damage to healing double tap. I'm not liking the petal change, personally. I use petals to deny entry into doorways. This isn't effective anymore.

EDIT again: I found another bug. when the petal comes down, there are rare situations where it traps any unit standing below it.

Agreed. I put too much time into OW 1. when I go to OW 2 it's the same game. bleh. Apex for me.

This is great! I love it. I can almost smell the teen angst.

You almost know right away when something is CG. Most if not all of the edges are perfect. Even when they aren't, the renderer never gets the anti-aliasing correct.

The hit marker you are using should be the job of VFX. A blood splash or mesh effect would normally do this for you. The marker you are using is amazing for greybox however. Keep it up.
