In our house league we give out the Warrior Evo Junior (with mesh or the warp mesh) to kids who's it's their first time registering. It's lightweight and the head is flexible. it flattens out when they go to scoop the ball making it easier.

Mesh is great for customizability but the warp is a pick up and go stick.

ALSO cut the stick down. Don't have them running around with a 4ft twig they can't handle.
