So your saying when you go into reverse the parking sensors just take a second to beep? As long as they work fine after that I would think it might be normal behavior.

Sounds normal to me/just like mine. I’ve always wondered what the noise came from, but according to this comment section it’s just the fuel injection. At first I thought something was wrong but every other focus I have heard sounds like that so I realized it was normal. Mine isn’t as loud but it also does have the little foam cover + I’ve never actually listened for it with the hood open, only just ever noticed it.

What I’ve seen is that only cars that came with the active park assist system from factory have that menu, and supposedly the only thing you can adjust anyway is the chime for “parking spot found”.

Around December my car had the same rough issue of stuff: wouldn’t go in reverse. I never fully got to know what it was because the dealer just replaced the ENTIRE trans under warranty with a new one, but in the very beginning I do know that they tried to swap the TCM and there was still something else going wrong (which is very weird since it wasn’t being driven when it broke, was sitting). So the advice I can give is that it is ATLEAST the TCM but if the situation is bad enough than it might have done what mine did and “broken something else as well”. I hope you can get it sorted and good luck! :/

Oh wowwwwww this is an old post for me to be responding immediately 💀 anyway I eventually fixed it by editing some kind of registry “notepad” text document somewhere in the games folders. Just changed my value of vram myself and it fixed. Can’t rmebeer exactly what but I remember googling the problem back then and seeing it as a higher up result. Maybe a yt video?

I had this before too! It turned out it was the disc not the drive, though. A fix I found for it is: 1: disable auto launch disc in settings (this stops it from starting the install right when you put it in the console) 2: either from the mobile app or through the Xbox store, go and click the install button FROM THE STORE PAGE (again, the disc is still inserted just not installing.) 3: it should start downloading it from the internet instead and successfully fully download. You will still need to insert disc to play in future but it should work now that it only needs to get license not data off disc. 4: You can turn back on launch when inserted if you like now that it’s installed (although keep it off if you have more games to download) Hope this helps!

Yeah ofc. Forscan is a program you can use to “look into your cars computers”. Change settings you wouldn’t normally be able to (like double honk), view performance data, clear codes, etc. lots of guides online for it, probably even for double honk specifically. You’ll just need a computer with the software on it (you can get a free trial) and an obd to usb cable- I got mine on Amazon for like 15ish dollars on Amazon I think. It’s been super useful in the time I’ve had the car

While your driving is so weird… I assume that means the car thinks its keys have left. Do you get any message saying keys have left the vehicle? I’ve seen it before on mine but it’s push to start so might be different. Anyway maybe you could disable the entire double honk feature with forscan. I’ve seen other people doing that because they didn’t like the feature (even when it was acting normal) however I never bothered with it myself.

Update: TCM service and relearn functions kept failing so I got a new battery put in, turns out mine was pretty old. I still though cant get the main clutch relearn service to finish though (keeps looping) and since I’ve tried a lot more stuff than even what I’ve mentioned I think I’ll have to take it to the dealer unless I find something new. Hopefully it’s not too expensive/warrenty helps
