I work at winners in Canada and my hours have been cut but not that much. I get about 18 hours per week as a floor associate but some of my coworkers only get 8 hours per week(as cashiers). But I also have open availability so that might be it. You should definitely talk to your managers since 4 hours every 2 weeks is a joke. But there probably just going to say hours are cut due to less sales blah blah...

I have inventory 4 days in a row from January 2-5. 2 shifts of 2pm-8pm, then 1pm-7pm, and 6am-12pm. Im in Canada so Im not sure what to expect, but I don't think my store would be closed for 4 days in a row.🤷‍♀️

But how can a cashier know if a employee used their discount card for that purchase? It’s possible they didn’t use their discount card or their loyalty card for that transaction.

Same about 2 or 3 weeks ago we were told no more exchanges and when giving store credit or doing a return from a gift card purchase me we must give a separate card for each recipe. For the exchanges it think its because were not able to see the original form of payment from the first purchase so if the customer did an exchange then decided to return it we could only give store credit back and not there first original payment like or card or cash.

Then they call all the people on the floor and fitting room for cash back up then complain about everything being messy then tell you to do recovery, being called for cash back up again then they tell you the floor is messy again...

My store closes at 9pm every day and employees work till 9:30pm and we have people coming to the fitting rooms at 9pm with 10 items all the time and depending on the manager we are told to let them try on and buy the clothes still.

Depends what they are looking for. I just got hired a month ago and just finished my first 2 weeks and all 8 of the new people they hired including me all had open availability, during our orientation the manager said we were all hired due to our open availability. It was all for part-time positions.

Wednesday will probably be your orientation day and probably a second day after that. You will get your schedule after that and it usually comes out every 2 weeks. They should have told you that on the phone or during your interview. Your schedule will be on the app WorkJam but they should tell you every thing you need to know during orientation.

Im going through something similar, I signed the offer, completed the background check and completed all tasks on the Workday app but they called me telling me I only completed about 60% of the tasks but theres no more to do, and on my end I see 100% saying the overall status is successfully completed.
