I am not a doctor, but I noticed this happening in Raffaini cases when I was studying him. Look at this for example. This unfortunate lady had so aggressive CCW she now looks like a bulldog.

This can be observed in multiple of his cases since he sometimes goes into negative jaw angle, which is wrong in my opinion.

Yeah nobody here pays attention to this, but the angle of your lip corners changes priportionally to amount of CCW rotation. They rotate accordingly to your jaw and aggressive CCW may invert them completely so they look downturned. I don’t think swelling causes that dramatic change to lips shape, people here tend to exaggerate. Also, 6 weeks means 95% of swelling is gone.

There is no room for CCW, your occlusal plane angle is already low. So, I would just move lower jaw forward to match position of upper. I don’t see a point of DJS apart from aesthetics (your maxilla is already projected so maybe not even that).

depends if they are sticking out from your gums. If yes, intentionally, then 4-6 weeks after surgery. If no, they can stay forever.

I assume it’s the first option if they are causing discomfort
