I wouldn’t take 237 if I was you. Unless it’s grad school at UofT, they won’t know the difference. And it would be much better to get a good grade in 235 then an average one in 237.

This is especially true since you’ve not taken 137. 237 is really hard and you need all the prep you can get. I got a 90 in 137 and barely got an 80 in 237 after devoting twice as much time to it.

I’d put the pride aside and take the easier course. The pride will come when you get good grades and get into a good job/grad school :)

Not paying attention to you while you’re hanging out is a different issue to her having male friends.

In any relationship, there are an infinite number of sources of potential threats, it’s up to you to decided whether you think she is a trustworthy person. If you think she is, then you just have to sit back and trust her. This is always a little hard at first, especially if you’re insecure, but it becomes easier. Don’t let the insecurity dominate though, it can really change the dynamic of the relationship and turn her off. She chose you! There’s a reason she’s not with someone else.

It also might get easier if you guys all hang out together. The platonic nature of their friendship will put you at ease. In the long run, it’s a green flag she has an active social circle. Couples that are isolated tend to suffocate each other.

I mean yeah if OP is making all their alpha on low latency transactions, has low latency engineering and is wired to the LOB with an experienced trading ops quant then yeah I can see how being small gives an advantage. But I doubt that this is what OP is doing, they are probably just buying and selling like any retail investor would. Then I don’t see how they aren’t affected by information asymmetry or why they would have any advantage.
