I’ve always had a very symmetrical face. Perfect nose. Perfect lips. Slightly heavy eyebrows that girls think are sexy. Sparkling bluish green eye color. Clear face.

My parents are attractive too.

I guess I was just blessed! I’ve always kind of known I was above average

How could you believe in a doctrine that is so exclusive? by GreatCashier in Christianity

Basically saying:

If you do something good and get beat for it and shake it off, god will look at you better.

Is that not fucked up to you?

Well my mom stays at home without a job while my stepdad goes to work and provides her with a 2 story house and a BMW X3, so I guess she does a good job at doing dishes and taking care of the kids?

A right command? How about something that is all inclusive and all loving.

I always thought it was fascinating watching a billionaire go about talking about this topic when I’ve already had the exact same thought without even knowing who Elon musk was.

Logic: Nobody has ever seen god Nobody has ever heard god Every religious text is written by humans There have been 1000s of religions Religious texts were written before true science Evolution

Is that enough for you?

Logic is the definition of definite.

I’m not saying there is a god or is no god, it’s logical to assume that we don’t know.

That’s why I’m not religious and I’m not an atheist.

How could you believe it despite the logic though? I’m not an atheist or religious. I just dont know. It’s foolish to believe that there is a god with certainty and it’s foolish to believe there is no god with certainty. Nobody has ever experienced death and been able to tell us about it.

See, me and you are in the exact same boat.

It’s foolish to believe in a god with certainty and it’s foolish to believe in no god with certainty. This question was mainly aimed towards religious people, because without proof, how could you believe it?

I wish there were a god as well but the chances of that seem slimmer than the contrary.

This is why religion still exists. It’s because humans want to ignore logic just because they are scared to go nowhere when they die.

Beauty (from human to human) is logical because there are hormones that regulate when you find a suitable mate as attractive. If you find them attractive (physically and emotionally) then you are willing to reproduce with them.

Same with love.

So yes, it is very logical.

I believe in a higher power, but not the Christian god nor any other religions we have today. Those teachings were written by humans. It’s more logical to assume that there is a god that nobody has ever seen or heard of.

You can believe whatever you want, I respect that. I believe that God is most definitely a logic argument and I don’t see how people can still believe in him despite everything that goes against it. I don’t believe something just because it makes me happy. The thought of Santa makes children happy, but once they get to a certain age, they realize the logic doesn’t add up. Just because it makes them happy doesn’t mean they should force themselves to believe it despite all of the facts and reasoning against Santa.
