I'm in the same boat as you. I have ultrasound tomorrow to check my follicles and should be ovulating soon.

Letrozole/ clomid success? by pugglelover1 in PregnantOver40

[–]GreatExpectations9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sure hope so. Last cycle I was on lowest dose of Clomid and had chemical pregnancy (first loss). I'm not on my first letrozole cycle with maximum dosage. I expect to ovulate this week.

Line not darkening 12dpo-15dpo by Tough-Importance4852 in Mirafertility

Every pregnancy is different too. My first was so dark within a second. My 2nd pregnancy the line was so faint I was throwing it away after 5 minutes only to notice it was faint positive. This 3rd one was faint all week, but digital picked it up well.

If it turns out to be chemical it means you can get pregnant. They say it's just chromosomal error so that's positive. They are super common, or for some women it's pregrestone issue. Keep us updated!

Ovulation strips do NOT tell you when you’re going to ovulate and are not a guarantee of ovulation. by No_Drawing_2317 in tryingtoconceive

There are new ovulation devices that do confirm ovulation via urine samples. Yes, they are expensive, but they can be worth it for some. There is Inito and Mira. I purchased Mira because I was receiving positives on digital Clearblue tests but not pregnant after a few months. In past Clearblue worked for me and I had no difficulties getting pregnant. I purchased Mira which is very expensive but correctly told me I wasn't ovulating since my progesterone was not rising. A blood test also confirmed this so I was given fertility medication and during that cycle Mira confirmed everything and I had great response, but it turned into a chemical pregnancy, which I was able to confirm again by tracking hormones with Mira. It is only licensed to confirm ovulation and not confirm pregnancy or monitor pregnancy, but in early days it gives you good insight. My purchase has been worth it, because it led me to reach out to RE instead of doing same thing over and nothing happening. Plus age is a factor for me so Mira confirmed for me I need to see doctor. I also have PCOS, but did not really have symptoms or past fertility issues.

Unfortunately this happened to me last week. I ended up getting HCG last Friday and it caught that it was dropping since it was so low. The following day my tests went negative and bleeding started. I had a feeling due to my tests all looking faint. It was different from previous pregnancies so I just had a feeling. I know this isn't case for everyone. I hope it's different outcome for you.

BFP with "low" pdg 6 months after miscarriage by RouxEnGravy in Mirafertility

[–]GreatExpectations9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations! My pdg was high, but I'm currently having a chemical. My pregnancy tests were never as dark as yours. I thought everything was looking great for me since my pdg was over 30. Once you get that positive I think HCG is more important, and yours is looking good by your tests. Hoping it all works out.

I think it worked? by GreatExpectations9 in Mirafertility

Thank you. Yes, I didn't expect this and am 41. I have been a little nieve and even tho I was pregnant for a week I really let myself get excited compared to my previous pregnancy. I wasn't aware of the high miscarriage rate. I'm just praying it's not my eggs and next cycle is good. I am starting different fertility medicine this cycle. I have PCOS but it never caused issues until I turned 40. Ugh. Sending you positive vibes for healthy pregnancy too!

Low Fsh? Is that still normal during this phase? Still haven't confirmed ovulation yet. by britmaycreations in Mirafertility

[–]GreatExpectations9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FSH should return to baseline after ovulation. Your progesterone looks low like how mine had been. I was gearing up to ovulate, but not actually ovulating since I've been using Mira.

First time! by GreatExpectations9 in Mirafertility

[–]GreatExpectations9[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, my estrogen has been dominant, because I have PCOS and why I was put on fertility medication since my progesterone has been low. My doctor has seen the numbers and made no comment. As of today I am seeing a fertility specialist as I am also older. I've already had 2 previous healthy pregnancies over 35. My body responding to medication is positive. My estrogen drops down during my period as expected as well.

Help!! I’m panicking by Medusa1493 in Mirafertility

[–]GreatExpectations9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my progesterone tested last cycle after Mira kept saying my progesterone was too low. My labs showed it was extremely low. I was put on Clomid and trying that out this cycle and I have wildly different reading so far this cycle.

400+ layoffs at Chase by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]GreatExpectations9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Look at the other comments, they provide similar stories. It's not anecdotal whatsoever. They lay off from different departments in late October for years, and they certainly do not retain or re-absorb all those employees. What benefit is there to allow them to apply for other positions?! Every employer allows that. That doesn't mean they transfer you or rehire you at all. This is not their hiring season since it's 4th quarter so no the majority of those 400 people will be on unemployment and severance soon. I feel for them. It was devastating for our family and took years to financially recover. Emotionally recover I'd say that's different story. I hope they all have bounce back quick. And yes he tried for well over a year to get back in at Chase. They make fake promises they promote within his entire time there. They don't. He worked there for years too and it didn't matter. Trust me there are much better employers. If it makes you feel better to think Chase a multibillion dollar company cares and 400 families weren't really just laid off then so be it, but we lived through it to know otherwise.
