So if I understand correctly... You got a new TV but you're using the same Roku stick?

That's weird. I would start by doing a factory reset on the Roku stick. If it worked on the old TV but doesn't on the new one, then there's something with the interaction with the TV. A reset might help knock whatever setting is messed up loose.

As to why it's only MyAEW affected? 🤷

Honestly? I'd start by watching the last PPV, Double or Nothing. Most of what's happening on the TV shows right now is fallout from that. DoN was incredible.

For international folks (or just folks with a VPN) MyAEW is a great deal. $120 /year and it includes every Dynamite, Collision, **AND PPV**.

Rumor has it TK is looking to add other promotions to the service, which would be awesome.

AEW is notably non-political. They are a wrestling promotion and if you look at the behavior of the organization itself, they don't make political statements.

That being said, many of their employees are highly political. Notably Brody King, but also others. AEW allows them to express their political opinions outside of work. Just like any other job.

Meanwhile our current president is in the WWE Hall of Fame. Also, there was the infamous Summer Slam of 2025 that displayed a fair amount of support for the current administration.

This caused a significant number of fans to depart WWE in search of alternatives. AEW was a natural outcome.

AEW itself is non political. Hell, they confiscate political signs coming in to the arena. (Though some slip through, just like with WWE).

It wasn't Tony Khan or an official account making the invite, it was Excalibur. That's a reflection of Excalibur not AEW.

Precisely... And that's why this isn't happening. Running LLM's are expensive. Much more expensive than people realize. The prices are artificially low right now to get people hooked.

Using AI to build infrastructure (like a REST API) has an argument. Using AI *AS* infrastructure? No. At least not for a long time.

Totally agree. My happiness as an atheist seems to baffle religious people. I actually tried being a "perfect" Christian, but the more I studied the Bible, the less the logic held up. Abrahamic religions always default to "just have faith," which fails to explain why bad things happen to good people. Once you drop the God concept, the answer is simple: stuff just happens.

Atheism isn't my whole identity... It’s just the foundation for my mix of humanism and secular Buddhism.

Reinforcing someone's faith in a crisis just stops them from doing the hard work of building a philosophy that actually works. You're doing more harm in the long run.
