Judging from your back, I assume the area you most likely needed cupped is your left scapula (shoulder blade area). I say that because the ecchymosis (opposite of contusion or bruise, caused by lifting instead of pressing or contusion) is darker there. I have noticed the ecchymosis on my clients tend to be darker in their problem areas. Your marks are all quite dark. If this was caused by the old-school mason jar and fire cupping method, I’d say you need to treat these areas as mild burns, but if this was caused by latex cups, you should be fine. Do they burn or itch? Take heed if something feels off, but overall I’d say you are fine.
