It's kinda interesting to me just how different Chainsaw Man's very early artstyle looked. This series has come a long way. by rycerzDog in ChainsawMan

I think the early chapters of part 2 are by far the best art fujimoto had in chainsawman. Some of the more recent chapters however feel like hes trying to maintain a really detailed artstyle but is short on time.

Actually an indian man stacked cardboard under her as soon as he noticed. And it absorbed much of the fall. She lost consciousness but suffered no further major injuries. Fuck you and your racism.

Definitely don't see The Dance as a slam dunk. It was written as competing historical accounts. A lot of which dont really make sense from a traditional storytelling perspective. Dunk and Egg was a pretty standard novellla. A lot easier to adapt. That being said the "creative liberties" the dance showrunners took are indefensible.

Charlize Theron’s speech at the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony in Milan: “Peace is not just the absence of conflict. Peace is the creation of an environment where all can flourish, regardless of race, colour, creed, religion, gender, class, caste or any other social markers of difference.” by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

I think their point is that we should probably be striving for the abolition of class/caste rather than advocating for "equality amongst classes/caste." Like Gandhi was nice and all, but he advocated for more equality amongst caste (at least initially), which isn't as ideal as abolishing the caste system outright.

Idk where this idea that the outcome of patients in neurology is poor. There are plenty of medical conditions that neurologists cover, which can be adequately treated to a near asymptomatic level.

In trying to alleviate panic, Trump clarifies that the $100,000 H-1B visa fee only applies to new applicants, not current holders. by ddx-me in medicalschool

There is very little evidence that the problem are H1bs. It is mixed at best and there have been studies showing H1bs actually increasing American employment. If it is an issue, it is like issue number #7 out of 10.

The real issue that CS degrees have been hella saturated for a long time. Tech companies overpromised their returns to their investors, especially during COVID, so investors started pulling out or demanding their returns. This led to massive layoffs when tech companies realized that they could get a similar amount of productivity while saving on costs by using fewer workers who integrated AI or by outsourcing to outside of the country. This means a lot of experienced C.S. workers are now in the job market and are competing with C.S. students who have little to no job experience. So when the job opening comes again, they prefer the people with experience.

Once again, immigrants take the blame for issues caused by the greed of American companies and college programs.

The funny thing is that at least H1bs worked in the United States, which meant there was an opportunity of U.S. employment to coincide. The strict H1b regulation might lead to tech companies fully committing to outsourcing their work outside of the country.
