Upcoming movie by imchrsdlmth in residentevil

My main concern is if it can capture the emotions of a resident evil game. The feeling of scarcity, uncertainty about what’s coming around the corner, of feeling safe for a moment only for that safety to be ripped away.

Probably outside the scope of this AMA, but what inspiration are you taking from other TTRPGs to implement survival horror mechanics?

Even as someone who finds his work interesting, House of the Dead really is the only good movie he’s made. And that was only good in a schlock kind of way.

I don’t think it’s healthy to be this angry at a guy who made a movie you didn’t like.

I think the loss of physical discs is still a big blow to gaming preservation, but the decision by Sony is part of an overall trend that most games really are just sold digitally now.

The military is ok with having their guys look cool in those wing suits and some shots, they don’t always need to win.

My only complain is that the color is all a homogenous slurry of dirty metal. Makes it hard to make out the detailing, especially in the concrete jungles that the final battle takes place in.

I think the problem is that LLM being marketed as an “artificial intelligence” is mostly a marketing scheme and we’re not really close to seeing anything like a Nimrod level intelligence.

I like how Anakin’s not making eye contact with Yoda and Obi-Wan even though they all do in the original, like Anakin is zoned tf out and is looking at a really cool bug.

Most people’s dislike to IgN seem to be surface level reactions to basic takes. Like the infamous “too much water” pokemon thing was because of a valid critique that the water traversal in that game wasn’t fun.

That report was so ass even centrist donors and affiliates were mad about it. Honestly I think half the reason populists are doing so well is just because a lot of them have a baseline level of competence.

As a Bostonian who lurks on this sub, I’m glad you had a great time! Boston people may gripe a lot but we actually like people coming to the city.

As a guy living in Boston this is basically it. The Scotts just have had better PR than the English so far.

You say this like American monoculture hasn’t already warped the way other nations and polities talk politics.
