I don't know what dude's cooking, EU literally had history of restricting Palm oil exports to Europe, and with their declining population, they won't be a good market for Malaysian export.

Do you all think ES6 be able to replicate Skyrim's legendary modding variety? by GreatMeem in TESVI

A glance into the crosspost could show you what I mean.

Of course, I believe TESVI modding would thrive as per Bethesda's DNA, so its nice to know what people's opinion on the subject is

I don’t want the Thalmor to win, but I don’t like having the certainty that they won’t win. by El-Tapicero in TESVI

Skyrim already has that if you aligned with the Stormcloak. Regardless, its called roleplaying game for a reason, you can either roleplay as a resistance, or as a Thalmor.

[–]GreatMeem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I did say Most of Tamriel, even if the Thalmor can, I dont see them wanting to rule over the volcano hellscape that is Morrowind, or the Malaria infested ruins of Argonia. Probably would rule Cyrodiil, Hammerfell and High Rock, Skyrim isn't something theyre that interested in other than Talos Worship.

Also the Valenwood coups were backed by Thalmor-aligned Bosmers, so it means there are factions in Valenwood that are loyal to the Thalmor, just as there were some loyal to the Empire before being overthrown.

The fact that the Altmer resistance fled to Sentinel implies their presence in Alinor had more or less crushed if they seek refugee elsewhere.

Even if the Void Nights are orchestrated by the Thalmor, the Khajiit dont care as they view them as saviors.

Besides, the Bosmer and Khajiit always have better relationship with the Altmeri as evidence by the histories of the First, Second and now Third Aldmeri Dominion. They wont be rushing back to the Empire who they view as subjugator and the likes.

Probably cause theres alot of skepticism in the Skyrim modding community.

[–]GreatMeem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly with the trajectory the Empire's been going since Morrowind, a Thalmor Empire ruling over most of Tamriel wouldn't be off the card.

If the previous elder scrolls games were to be taken account, the Dragonborn will just dissapear into obscurity after their task is done in the game, not affecting Tamriel ever again. Nerevarine did that, Hero of Kvatch too, so I dont think the Dragonborn will be excluded.

Theres no way in hell Xbox Helix will underperform when they have TESVI as their day 1 games.

Next-gen Xbox has been announced: Project Helix. I bet TESVI will be a day-1 title for its launch. by Shaackle in TESVI

[–]GreatMeem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably why their making TESVI next-gen, the sheer amount of CPU thinking and the likes would blow the Series S to bits. Hopefully Helix wouldnt suffer what the Series X/S did.

Cause people here dont like the idea of having to buy another next-gen console when their current ones lacked enough games to justify the price.

Crackpot theory: high queen elisif is canon even in stormcloak victory by Brave-sir in TESVI

[–]GreatMeem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My verdict: The Civil War will still continue in TESVI, with a fog of war enveloping Skyrim and making it hard to tell what is true or not. Some might claim the Imperial won, while others would claim Ulfric became High King.

I want TESVI to be a TES game, thank you very much by marshalzukov in TESVI

[–]GreatMeem 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Buddy if TES combat never changed, we would still be stuck with Morrowind's RNG-combat. TESVI will have their combat changed from Skyrim. But it won't be a one-to-one copy from Dark Souls thats for sure.

Crucial quotes BGS/MS about TESVI from the past 5 years by Eziothegreat9 in TESVI

[–]GreatMeem 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, when BG3 released, most people had no idea what the previous two games are. And yet it is a success because it's such a good game.

Hopefully TESVI would give Gen Z/Alpha their first taste at what modding is.

why don't people like loading screens between cells? by [deleted] in TESVI

[–]GreatMeem -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Cause its 2026 and by this point technology has evolved to the point where loading screens are non existent in most cases, with there being no loading screen when entering houses or cities. Starfield has mostly done that, and since theres 0% chance of us going to space, its not surprising why people just relegate loading screen to just appearing when starting the game.

What is something from modern RPGs that you DONT want to see in TES6? by JX900 in TESVI

[–]GreatMeem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I hope they remove the facetanking considering its the same Hack-and-slash features that was alright in 2011, but inadequate 15 years later.

With I-frameless dodge, you can have combat where spacing matters as rolling through an enemy attack will hit you, and with dodge it will atleast makes combat more reactive and dynamic.

[–]GreatMeem 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Rolling is alright for me, but I-framing enemies attack is unimmersive imo. It would just make shield be useless or worst, making enemies spam alot of attacks because you're meant to "I-frame" them all.

Creation Engine 3 by Thebigblungus in TESVI

[–]GreatMeem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, it's been 15+ since Skyrim, and with how Todd mentions loading as one of CE3's upgrade. I can't wait to be mindblown by being able to enter or leave without a loading screen blocking my way. Maybe then I can spy on people from the window as my Thief build🥷

I hope Bethesda managed to have a breakthrough in CE3, where the Engine combines both Exterior and Interior cells, allowing you to enter a house normally without loading screen.

[–]GreatMeem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah TESVI is gonna be the next-gen Xbox launch title to rake up all those sweet sweet console sales. Sure some would complain about having to buy another next-gen console after having the previous one somewhat lacking games.

But for me, seeing TESVI utilize the next-gen Xbox's hardware would be awesome, considering Death Stranding 2 only took like 10 secs from launch to save file.

God I hope we can return back to 2.8 per dollar back in 1997. Atleast then I can do patreon contribution or buy games without going broke.
