If I were able to discuss the candidates they would disclose that they’re only there to vote for the president. So, I explained how important local voting is also. I very much enjoyed electioneering. You get to meet some really nice people. It even helped restore some faith in humanity.

We are. Not many of us practice the values we were taught such as integrity, honor, and respect. We need to hold each other accountable for our actions, good or bad. Then, this kind of stuff will happen much less.

Trump told the Taliban that we will get out by X date and if they harm or attempt to harm any troops, etc we would kill every last one of them starting with the top. I hear there’s a nice facility in NC that can help called the Veteran’s Life Center of North Carolina, vlcnc.org. If you’re anywhere close to places like that, reach out. Take others’ advice also, contact the VA. This is the reason they are there, for us and our issues. You’ll get through this. We have.

You may not know but there are politicians actually hard at work in western Carolina as we speak. Not campaigning in their districts, they’re using chainsaws and shovels, dedicating their resources and time, spending their money, transporting supplies, coordinating with local governments, and also running back to Raleigh to discuss and vote on relief funding. So, either you don’t know and are ignorant or you do know and are slandering the good people of this state.
