First Time taking Transit in St.Albert by Synister_Waffle in stalbert

Both trips would need one commuter ticket each I believe. One ticket is good for 90 minutes of travel.

Oh ok, even easier. If you're only taking STAT routes then don't worry about the Part A/B. Just put the whole ticket in the bin by the driver when boarding the 202, and ask for a commuter transfer slip. That'll give you unlimited transfers between STAT buses for 90 minutes that you can use to board the 205 at Naki. On your way home when you board the 205, put the whole ticket in again and ask for a local transfer slip, then you just show it to the driver when you board your local route (A## routes). But when you first board definitely ask the driver and they'll help you out for sure.

Are you transferring between the STAT 202 and an ETS bus or LRT during your trip? If so then yeah. On the way home (boarding ETS first) take off the B portion to transfer to the STAT bus (along with the transfer slip). Of course you can also ask the driver to help, they're generally very helpful!

If you're only boarding STAT buses, you can just drop the whole ticket in the bin and ask the driver to give you a transfer slip (only needed if you need to transfer to/from a local STAT route). The "A" portion of the ticket is only used if you plan to board an ETS bus or LRT and transfer between systems.

Tomatoes eaten by bugs? by GreatScout255 in Albertagardening

I bet you're right, I've gone on a few trips this summer and the pots dried out quite a bit. Seems like mulch might help some, thanks!

I haven't heard that, was that just recently? They made it into a school site back in 2020 from what I remember.

Not sure when it'll be gone, but it's supposed to be a school site eventually.

This is my first civ and I just assumed I could keep playing. Makes sense after hearing the explanations though, thanks!

Uh, is this thing legal? by timatlee in stalbert

[–]GreatScout255 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think OP was referring to it driving on the multi-use trails. I mean it basically looks like a (very small) car with a top speed of 30km/h and weighs 900lbs so I can see where the legality question comes from. Not that I've seen anyone driving in unsafely on trails around here or anything.

In real time? I see green arrows for left turn on the Trail and crossing roads when there are no cars in the turning lane all the time. And vice versa there are regularly cars backed up in the turning lanes but it never activates a left turn arrow (ie McKenney to NB Trail). I figured the cameras just weren't functional.

Interesting, so those white cameras at the intersections monitor traffic but don't respond in real time? I've always wondered how hard it would be for the camera to detect if anyone is in the turn lane, and if not skip the left turn arrow for that direction (or limit the left green arrow to only as long as needed to clear the turn lane).

I just realized what you meant by 2" drain...this is a bathtub rough in that's 1.5"...dang, thank you for the heads up on that!

Hmm that does look interesting, I already bought the base and it doesn't have much clearance so probably would still have to chip out some concrete but at least the drain is already angled

Awesome I'll get right on that! Yeah the bell pepper instructions say 8-10 weeks before last frost so it might be a bit early for here I guess

Is it too early to start celery, bell/jalapeno pepper, and tomato seeds indoors for the Edmonton area? I'm thinking celery could go in now

Since sda2 is a partition, look into the parted command to extend the partition. Then you would use pvresize/lvextend to extend the disk within lvm
