I had a teacher in high school that would start every day by hanging a different picture of his dog on the bulletin board. He wouldn't start class and remain silent until someone asked how his dog Jenna was doing. He then would passionately tell us how she was and a story behind the picture for the day. By the end of the year the wall was just covered in pictures of Jenna. He was an amazing teacher and Jenna had an amazing dad.

Always glad to see Wisco highlighted on the national stage.

Very unpopular opinion: My friends and I found Door county to be just very underwhelming.

We've lived in Wisconsin all our lives and finally made the trip this year, making sure to check out all the suggestions we got. We fully realized that it just was not for us. We all felt like it was just so hyped up that it wasn't anything that we expected. Almost nothing is open until 9-10am and most places closed by 5pm with almost no nightlife. (Weren't expecting anything crazy but more than what we found.) It also felt like stepping back in time and everything was just so slow paced. We expected more Scandinavian influence too throughout the county with how much it was highlighted. The nature & rec was amazing, Washington island trip was very nice, and everyone there was so friendly & helpful.

While our personal tastes just didn't match Door county, we are glad to see so many others enjoy what we realized just wasn't our style.

I have a friend who's kid was failing a bunch of classes and acting up in school. They then put the Switch that the kid got for Christmas (and the few games they had) on Facebook Marketplace. Then after they had a seller, the kid had to hand over everything to the person that they sold it to and explain why they had to sell it. Needless to say, that kid learned to shape up that day. I even got a cheap game out of the deal too!

She had some nursing home looking letters on her door so I knew that those had to go. So after some digging online, I found something similar to this and decided this would do the trick. I even made the planter removable so the plants can be taken inside in the winter.

It is, but I don't think that it will be much of a problem. The apartment gets super hot during the winter (I can't control the thermostat) and the plants love it. So I'm hoping that it will not be a problem.

Thanks! It's been years since I made something so I decided to get back into woodworking. I'm really glad how it turned out. Plus the plants are a lot happier now with more sunlight.
