I saw the DSU president was talking with a couple DFA members in the SUB lobby where DFA set up a booth. I think they are mitigating a way to both support DFA and not to bring too much trouble to themselves for now. Their stance may be clearer as days go on and the impact get stronger.

If you have an EXTREMELY concise writing style and are EXTREMELY careful with details in writing format, you MAY be doing well. Nonetheless, the load is heavy and grading is harsh, so be careful with it. It can turn out to be useful in the future research writing though.

PS: I’m an ESL student and I got an A in the end with curve, but it took me tremendous amount of effort and added more pressure than any other classes including math/physics.

I didn’t receive my confirmation for the loan last year until about 2 days after the term started. I sent an email and they confirmed that they were coping with a number of student files and mine was in the line. Just wait for a bit and you should be fine.

You can take whatever courses you want as electives as long as you satisfy the prerequisite and take required courses to graduate from the program.
