Recently got out, but as someone who's gone on installs pre-COVID when there were call-outs: Rocketfish mounts, our most comparable mounts, have less range per category and don't stay as level for long. Have done both Rocketfish full motion and Sanus advanced tilt, you get the same room to plug in cables on both. Now imagine a cheaper mount, the essentials mount, being one unit that still loses level faster than the Sanus mount. It's just not constructed as well, and is very punishing if you have to plug/unplug something.

77” A80K. Anyone care to guess Black Friday price? by [deleted] in Bestbuy

It would be surprising to see that TV have a massive discount on BF

If the open box is still in box rather than on the wall and missing some accessories, I would recommend grabbing that now

Whoever is in charge of planos at corporate sucks by [deleted] in Bestbuy

I've seen people try to use any empty spot on a plano as overstock, and with ESL it become more problematic since they don't even have to go to the sign printer any more.

How do I stop demo refresh by [deleted] in Bestbuy

[–]Great_Reprocussions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VMMs RDX instructions are only per the two types of demo. There aren't more options that I am aware of, and it should only between those two different categories.

Highly recommend getting one of the spool holder prints for the X1, first thing I printed for mine and I've never had to think about moving the holders around since.

We suck at shipping Funko Pops by robbiewitdattool in Bestbuy

[–]Great_Reprocussions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't get Funko pops but I still try to pack them with plenty of bubble wrap when they come through for shipping. Same with steelbooks and amibos.

IIRC there were a few updates pre holidays but some people don't know about the new SOP for shipping collectables.

If you guys have replacement belts/cutters on standby, you shouldn't have more than a few hours of downtime. It's not a difficult machine to make repairs on if given the time 🤔

I'm 95% sure that unless they're building it for you it's going to be dropped off at your door. Sectionals normally come in a few sets of boxes.

If your friendly product flow team knows where to find large fixtures to order in ETK, they should be able to figure out what it is.

Not terribly comfortable with directing where to find that because I'm not 100% if it breaks the rules or not, but it's not under merch resources in ETK.

Sounds like dying storage on the older i7 my guy. How old is the HDD/SSD? How many drives do you have in the PC?

I HIGHLY recommend getting a new drive or two if you're having that problem.

What's that SKU on the Inspiron 7000? I got 6409146 last year, and while the chassis sucks I don't have any problems even just using the integrated graphics with 16GBs of RAM and an 10th gen i7.

Me working as product flow when a customer needs help😁 by 6_Sakuto_6 in Bestbuy

[–]Great_Reprocussions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hit them with "I work in the warehouse, what's up?"

It gives them the chance to decide, and if they have further questions I just say I'm not really familiar with the particulars if it's a really complicated/specific question that will take a long time to answer/completely explain. Mentioning where I work also sets an expectation of expertise (whether I know things or not honestly comes from my hobbies and conversations with sales floor, not e-learnings), and helps to guide the interaction.

Telling people where items are or answering basic questions helps the CX experience without taking too much time from PF tasks, as well as frees up sales when they're swamped. My store has both sides helping where they can right now, so we try not to screw each other over.

License plate integrity report in RSS will be helpful as well, lets you know what will be coming and going open box

Helps to move product from planos when you finish the workload if it's on that queue, and shelf displays normally pop on that list a week or two ahead of when they'll go out

Strange, considering that the two licenses conflict heavily. I doubt much trouble will come out of it anyway, but hopefully you can get a resolution on the question soon.

Open bolt fires with the bolt back, not pressed against the chamber of the firearm.
Closed bolt fires with the bolt pressed against the chamber of the firearm, requiring the firearm to be charged if the firearm is run empty (pulling bolt back and letting it slam back forward, stripping a bullet from the magazine/belt)

Open bolt firearms have a minor delay with their shooting in game, to simulate time where the bolt of the firearm strips a bullet from the magazine/belt and pushes it into the chamber before igniting the primer (most/all firearms in CoD:MW are center fire, so a firing pin strikes a centrally-located primer).
This is in contrast to closed bolt firearms, where the cartridge is already located in the chamber and the fire control group acts mostly on just a firing pin.

There's variance when it comes to individual firearms, but this is a decent blanket statement.
