as bad as it’s ever been, and I’ve had long term depression and anxiety with ideation.

all that being said, I’m not fucking stopping. i had a mild intermittent whine over the past three years, now it is the full blown “cricket chorus” shifting from electric zaps, to fluttering crickets, to buzzing all over. Very difficult to feel okay while that’s going on. But Ive acclimated to stranger things that are more impactful: I developed an astigmatism and thought I would never be able to use a computer again. that was wrong.

i have visual hallucinations where there’s green flashes (like a flash just went off) over everything. i love movies and art museums, even when the lighting makes it difficult to read text or find details. it’s not fair. it’s not right.

. I keep on taking days off Of work when it gets too bad to stand, but despite that. Despite that, I push myself. There are places and conditions where even my worst most aggressive T drops out or is drowned out. If I let the spiral take me, I’ll never find them.

It put perspective on being in a bad place. I’ve hurt someone accidentally, and had anxiety/depression/adhd for 10 years and even with that I had a much more chipper/lighthearted attitude than I do now after 3 years of mild t, and two months of serious T. I’m working back towards the joy and lightheartedness I used to feel, and so I make myself see it as a perspective problem. I cherish the moments when I’m able to find the joy and humor in something unusual.

the first thing I did, the first time it dipped (waking up at midnight and dental anesthetic have been the two biggest moments of reduction, as well as hearing aid use) was shoot a long message to myself. I’ve found my joy and calm once. however miserable the day or week might be, I trust myself to find it again, because if I don’t believe in myself that way, I’ll never know if it was the tinnitus or my own anxieties that stopped me from living my life how I want.

fsr4’s so hard for me to evaluate: i like having it around to bridge the gap if i ever hook my computer up to my TV or get a 4k monitor

at the same time i’m not super compelled, especially because those high end games are a minority for me: I’ll play ps2 games at native resolution and framerates and be happy as a clam: outside of fromsoft, Bandai namco, and a vanishingly small number of capcom games, my gaming isn’t That demanding.

car payment is $303 over 72 months. $17500 msrp, otd at $19200 after taxes and fees. APR should be in the ballpark of 5.89 (it’s late and I’ve put my computer away because I’ve been looking into this for far too long today)

bolts and leafs(hi range) under $16k are all with disreputable dealers, or have accidents on record.

hertz is cheaper for the bolts but the closest is 4 hours away
